How old is LO? 4 weeks a month on Thursday
How's everything going? Meh. I have a feeling I won’t be here much longer. She had a PTT released on Thursday and her latch hasn’t really improved. And with the holidays coming up, all the LCs and other help are going to be on vacation.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share?
0-1mo: Who is your biggest BF cheerleader? I don’t know that I have one.
1-3mo: How do nights look at your house?
If you're pumping, how is that going? When are you returning to work, or are you SAH? I pump 5-6x\day and still no real improvement. In fact I feel like my meagre supply is dwindling further. I might get 0.5oz per pump.
GTKY: what’s the last text you sent? K cool.

How old is LO? 11 weeks!
How's everything going? Great!
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? DD1 will totally grab one of her baby dolls now and sit next to me to feed them when I’m feeding LO. She says it’s our time “to talk Momma”. It’s adorable and melts my heart each time.
1-3mo: How do nights look at your house? Unfortunately LO has a pretty late bedtime. H coaches so I do bedtimes solo right now. I start putting our 2.5 year old to bed at 7:00 and lights off by 7:30. LO usually is sort of falling asleep or nursing or whatnot like a late late catnap but then is awake till after 9:00 (usually later) LO will then sleep straight till 5:30 or so. Eat. Fall back asleep till 8:30. I really want her bedtime earlier but I also need another set of hands to do it. And DD1s bedtime is more important (to me) right now because she has to actually get up and so daycare and whatnot whereas LO and I have the freedom to lounge and nap and nurse. My goal is to tackle this more aggressively when H is done coaching this season but it’s too hard right now solo.
If you're pumping, how is that going? When are you returning to work, or are you SAH? Milk supply is all over the place as my cycle has returned. Ugh. I got 15 months with DD1 but I think since LO sleeps through the night (and has since like 3.5 weeks old) my body is thinking it’s cool to start up again. I’m taking Fenigeek to help and someone suggested a calcium/magnesium supplement too.
GTKY: what’s the last text you sent? I told my mother she needed to start watching The Crown because I just binged season 1 and want to talk to someone about it all.

Internet hugs snuff9861. Congrats on a month! You’re a great mom, and you’ll make the right decision for your family, because you are the person most qualified to make it <3

How old is LO? Two months old.
How's everything going? Going well! He gained over 3 lbs in one month and is in the 81% for length. My nipples are hanging in there lol.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? We went on a road trip and he had a poop explosion as I was nursing him in the car at a rest stop. DH cleaned him up on the drivers seat lol. DS2 then pooped AGAIN as I was nursing him on the other side.
I always nurse on my side that overproduces right before his long stretch and then in the motn. I use the haakaa pump on the other side. It's helped so much with the engorgement and clogged ducts.
1-3mo: How do nights look at your house? Nursing to sleep around 930pm, sleeps until 4am (sometimes later), nurses again, back to sleep until around 7 or 8 am. DH gets up to change ds2 and then I feed him/get him back to sleep.
If you're pumping, how is that going? When are you returning to work, or are you SAH? I've been using the haakaa pump at night since ds2 only nurses on one side. 4-5oz with minimal effort. I'm at home for a couple more months before I hopefully start a new job.
GTKY: what’s the last text you sent? Attempting to arrange plans for holiday lights viewing tonight with my mom.

So ds2 is regularly doing a long stretch of 6-8 hours at night. He eats frequently during the day (I feed on demand but it's usually every 2 hours or so, but sometimes more frequent). And does 2 hours of clusterfeeding in the evenings before his long stretch.
Should I be getting up to pump or waking him to do a dream feed?
He's 2.5 months old and gaining great (over 3 lbs from 1 month to 2 months -- 12 lb 3 oz at 2 months old). He will have easily doubled him birth weight by the time he is 4 months old.

Over a week later I realize I misdated this thread. But it works since I didn’t post this week! grumpycat enjoy the sleep while it lasts. Your supply should adjust fine at this age. You can always add a MOTN pump if sleep isn’t working for you / it makes you too nervous. And speaking from experience, supply can adjust when/if MOTN wakeups resume.
