cythe Have fun at the shower!! And enjoy the last bit of vacation! Maternity shopping was hit and miss. I did find some shorts and tshirts at Target. I will need to get motivated and search some more to get more dressy clothes when school starts back up in the fall but I feel glad to finally have some clothes that fit and don't look too boxy right now.

Oh and I couldn't get my rings on this morning. I think I was 36 weeks before they wouldn't fit last time. Then again, my hands do seem to swell a little in the summer anyway. I can't remember when mine stopped fitting last time. I waited about 6 months pp and it still didn't fit so I had it resized. So far so good, this time around. My hands swell when I go for walks but it fits fine otherwise. I'm hoping to wear it longer this time since the ring is bigger now. I don't wear a lot of jewelry so I really missed wearing it. |

My engagement ring and wedding band still don't fit me from my first pregnancy. They have diamonds around the sides and my jeweler said to wait until we are done having kids before resizing. So I convinced my husband I needed a new ring, so he got me something for our fifth wedding anniversary back in January.

cythe - hope you have an awesome shower! thatgirlrachel - at my midwife appt this morning baby decided to dance while she was using the doppler lol, made it tricky! As for me - DS woke up early from his nap so I went back to try and put him back to sleep, and it turned into an hour nap for both of us. That'd be fine and dandy except I'm supposed to be working from home. At least no one from work was trying to get in touch with me during that time.

So today on my way into work a guy offered me his seat on the train, I was less than two minutes from my stop. I have never had anyone offer up their seat (not that I'm on the train that much) so it caught me off guard and I awkwardly told him I was ok and thanks. It may have come across a little bitchy but it was totally not my intention it was such a surprise.

My MIL has the worst timing ever... when H is home she tends to FaceTime when we're not at home or when DD is asleep. Since he's been gone I asked her to text me when she'd like to FaceTime, thinking she would say sometime whatever week it is. She decides to text me the day of and ask when a good time to call is. The last time was when DD was sick and we'd been to the ER a few times. She texted today asking to FaceTime... of course today is the day DD got 2 fillings done and has been needier than normal.

Add me to the list of people who need a pedi. My feet look so sad.
There is a demolition derby going on in my backyard. The annual spring fair is on this weekend and the demolition derby will be followed by a live band. It's only one weekend a year but I feel like an old person complaining about it.
