So happy that it's Friday!!! Busy weekend ahead, but I'm hoping to get some extra sleep  Had my midwife appt yesterday, and heard that beautiful heartbeat. I can hardly wait till my A/S next week, hoping I can relax and enjoy pregnancy after that. I've just been so paranoid this time around, and I don't know why, but I hate it. |

Glad the appointment yesterday made you feel a little better, FX for a great AS mommabakes! I have a midwife checkup this morning, then work. I'm on-call through the weekend and expecting to have to work, so no fun plans. |

It's 7 am on vacation. I'm awake, debating hitting the continental breakfast and maybe the pool before we leave. It's shower day! Then it's fly home day tomorrow. I have a midwife appointment this afternoon after work. It should be pretty routine, but I'm still excited to have another appointment down. I believe my next appointment will include my glucose test, but we'll see what they say today.

H is working from home today and did the DC drop off for DS so I've had a relaxing morning. It's glorious. I'm leaving for a conference tomorrow, so after work I need to get a mani/pedi and pack.

Oh, also I mentioned yesterday that I had been trying to eat less crap food this week. I weighed this morning and I've lost exactly 2 pounds since Saturday! Bye bye bloat and feeling gross!

Morning! We're waiting on DD to finish breakfast so we can head over to SIL's. We're supposed to go with her and MIL to a farmer's market. We have nephew's graduation this evening. I'm praying DD takes a nice long nap today, otherwise, she's going to be a disaster at the ceremony.

cythe Have a great time at your shower today! We had pretty good day today. DH found a place that I think will be our new permanent home, which is a huge relief. The building has to do some renovations/updates to the unit before we move in, but it fits all of our requirements and is in a great location. The building also has an awesome green space with a big play area/jungle gym for DS. The complex also has a really nice pool. Since it's always hot where we live (heat index normally from 95 - 115 or 120), a nice pool is essential. Fingers crossed it works out.

Leaving for the mountains after work for my sister's bachelorette weekend. I'm excited but also worried that I will be so tired and miss my kid! I didn't even leave her overnight until she was almost 2 and even then it's been a sleepover at grandparents here and there. This is Friday to Monday! She is home with DH so I know she'll be just fine but I'm going to miss her!

People are busy! Add me to the list. Right now I'm waiting for my second blood draw.
It's going to be 80 and sunny here and I'm going to the Cubs game today. Not a Cubs fan but you can't pass up Wrigley on a summer Friday. Good news, my clothes still fit for this occasion. Bad news no beer. 😭😫

It's another gorgeous day, I love 80* weather (as long as it isn't humid AF). At this rate, I'll hopefully have a sweet tan before SIL's wedding next weekend. |

Good luck to everyone having appointments today!
I'm at work. Today is one of my daughters daycare teachers last day. She is moving overseas, we are so sad to see her go, she treats DD like her own child. I gave her a hug and tried not to cry, luckily another parent came in the room so I awkwardly ran out. She's one of those people that you just immediately connect with and is so genuine.

That's awesome! I'm failing at this. One of my colleagues that is out today dropped off 2 dozen cookies for us. Super sweet, but there are only 3 of us in today. I ate 4 cookies before 10am. Then I went to Dunkin for coffee and it's donut day and they insisted on giving me a free donut. Maybe lunch will be healthy? |

I am pretty lenient on myself most of the time if I'm craving something or want a cupcake, with the understanding that I can't eat like that every single day. A few days of eating junk will make me feel crappy anyway, so it makes it easier to get back on track for a while. Enjoy your cookies and donut - tomorrow is a new day! But I must say I am jealous of everything you mentioned above. Coffee, cookies, donuts, mmmmm. |

chitownsully nice gymming! rebeccabunch Have fun! Pretty jealous of your plans and weather. We're basically still turning on the heat here. The no beer part sucks though. I work (or should I say "work") a half day today but my son is still going to daycare for a full day

Oh and I couldn't get my rings on this morning. I think I was 36 weeks before they wouldn't fit last time. Then again, my hands do seem to swell a little in the summer anyway.
