Rep Poe is super mad about unmasking (again, that's been investigated and the unmasking process has never been abused) and he really doesn't understand why Susan Rice isn't in jail along with Edward Snowden

Gutierrez thinks DOJ should investigate 45
Rosenstein says he will take any accusation seriously put forth by the committee. (groping on a train however is not a federal crime. )

Gutierrez: Are there grounds for a criminal investigation of sexual assault by the POTUS? Wouldn't the allegations against him be enough to get him arrested? And let's not forget that Trump HIMSELF has corroborated these allegations on the Access Hollywood tape.
Rosenstein: I'm here to talk about oversight of the DOJ. If you feel that someone has committed a crime, you're welcome to report that to the appropriate authorities.
Gutierrez: you're the number two law enforcement officer in the country and you can't definitively say that groping a woman without her consent is a crime?
Rosenstein: I've never prosecuted that kind of case, but you're welcome to report any crime of which you are aware

In case anyone forgot.
At some point isnt there a Asst. US Atty present?
Typically not
Who determines immunity?
the prosecutor makes that determination.

Rep Ted Deutch is reviewing the timeline of events surrounding Flynn's dismissal.
Rosenstein confirms that he has no reason to doubt the IC assessment that Russia meddled in our election to help Trump and hurt Clinton.

Deutch: It's kind of weird to me that my colleagues on the other side of the aisle would rather attack facts, reporters, and government officials than admit that there's a disconcerting series of events that took place surrounding the 2016 election (paraphrasing)

um, no, Gowdy, the Democrats didn't "move off of collusion and onto obstruction of justice." The two aren't mutually exclusive. There are a lot of crimes involved when you do a treason.

Rosenstein: Mr. Strzok was already working there before I appointed Robert Mueller. We didn't appoint him. And when we discovered his bias, he was fired. Any time there;s evidence of inappropriate conduct, we're going to take action. That's what Mueller did here. That's really all I can tell you. You should tell your constituents that we exposed this issue bc we wanted to assure the public that the IG is conducting a fair and thorough investigation.
Gowdy: I'll tryyyy
