I've seriously spent so much this weekend on all the sales. But I think I got almost all of my Christmas shopping, except gift cards, done so that's good. My cold is better today so I hope the nausea gets a little more bearable. I really lost is yesterday and bawled about how awful I've been feeling. I hope you're feeling better today leatherpants.

This is going to be the longest week ever! But I do have an appointment on Wednesday, which I'm looking forward to.
Thanksgiving with FIL and his miserable wife was about as unpleasant as anticipated. The first thing she said to me when she walked in was "Ugh. You look tired" and it just went downhill from there (I wasn't nice--I just said "Yeah well being almost 6 months pregnant and preparing an entire Thanksgiving meal will do that to a person"). I was so happy when they left the next day. But my food all came out good and despite what she seemed to think, I felt pretty good throughout the day and didn't hit a wall like I was afraid I would.

We got an $1100 bill for the MaterniT21 test. I called the lab this morning to set up a payment plan and happened to ask if they could reduce it and the lady was like, āSure, we can reduce it to $449ā. Ok, then.

I took all of last week off and spent the majority of that time deep cleaning, oragnizing, purging all the clutter, decorating for Christmas, etc. I need another week off now just to relax. Sure feels good to have some checked off my to-do list though!
It was a rough weekend with my oldest child. I'm feeling very drained, emotionally and physically today. Hoping things start to look up this week.
Totally random, but we should do a "Show us your Christmas decorations thread."

hope everyone had an alright weekend! it's definitely monday here. dd is an over tired mess, so we are just going to take it easy today. we finally found a dc to send her to and i called this morning to see what their wait looked like - june. ugh, i was being optimistic and hoping for january. if we can't get her in before the baby comes it's probably best to wait for a few months after so there won't be such a big transition. i was just fantasizing about having a few weeks where i could get some stuff done on my own before dd2. oh well.
i need to dig out christmas decorations and get started on those. i'm hoping that will help with my attitude.

polson you never know - they could have someone leave and you could get in early! Ask them to make sure they put you on that expedited list!? if they have such a thing.. I'm def keeping my kiddo in daycare when this one comes home - she's used to it, and I don't want to disrupt her routine too much. I'll likely take her out two days a week in Mid-May though so save some pennies.

Good morning. I feel like I have a weekend hangover, oof. I don't know what happened this month but I stepped on the scale and I've gained 8 pounds in 3-4 weeks. I feel like half of that is in my boobs, and I don't want to spend the $$$$ I'd need to to get new bras in my size. And I'm already doing the crazy thing where I have to push myself up from sitting to get up.
It's fun to be "showing" more, but I've got to work on eating less junk all day. Whine whine whine, sorry friends.

Yesterday I had horrible acid reflex. I was ok laying down, but sitting or standing was so bad I'd feel nauseous. Today, I'm feeling better but woke up to DD being sick. I want to just decontaminate my whole house and hide. I don't want whatever stomach crud my kid has on top of these horrible pregnancy symptoms that refuse to go away.

I am so, so tired. Really hoping DS has a nap this afternoon so I can too. It's been hit or miss lately.

I was outside with the kids today (it's unseasonably warm out) and I heard one of our adult neighbors working outside singing "Mommy finger, mommy finger, where are you." There were no kids around. Lol. I was thinking I should yell "That effing song sure gets stuck in your head, doesn't it?" š

katietopaz, I have to be strategic about getting out of bed too. Roll to one side, push up to sitting, stand. And rolling from one side to another during the night is enough of an effort that I don't do it in my sleep anymore. I'm just about 24 weeks so I guess it makes sense, but I feel like I've grown so quickly. Like, I was still concealing my bump just about a month ago. And now I can't sit up unassisted. LOL

I wish I'd taken notes or something the first time around, because I swear these thing weren't happening until third tri. Which...I guess isn't that far off... š³

Is it a good thing I have NO IDEA what these songs are?
and +2 with the level of effort to move in bed, get up from a chair, etc., and I'm only 19w. Sheesh.

You guys. The getting up struggle is real. And turning over in bed is like an Olympic event.
In other news, I bought a crap ton of baby clothes from my local moms group. So many cute things! And the nursery looks like a tornado went through. We still have random things in there from before, but now weāre starting to accumulate baby things and itās a total mess. Weāre picking up our glider this Friday and MH will hopefully want to put together the dresser soon. Then itās organization time because itās killing me to see that messy room.

mattsgirl2004 jealous of your decluttering. Weāre your kids in school? Iām drowning over here with no end in sight. Vacation was awesome, but the laundry after was not. Plus all the basics to catch up on. Letās not post holiday decor just yet eh?

I have done entirely too much online shopping (and regular shopping if I'm honest) this last week! I have a list of what I'm waiting on so I don't miss anythingš³ But I was able to get some of the big things for baby purchased so I'm happy about that:)

Add me to the painful rollovers in bed. My hips cannot handle it. So far standing is ok but I remember the stairs being sooo painful last time round. Hoping that hold off a while.

I am rallying hard to order a new, larger mattress from ghostbed today. Our current mattress is a queen & about 7 years old. I sleep in a small section between H & the dogs. I would get a ton of extra room with a California king, but Iād get more. Iām hoping to also eliminate the pressure point pain.

We have a king and we barely have room for my extra pillows. I canāt imagine adding dogs in there. How long are mattresses supposed to last?

I had my Echo today and the rest of my anatomy scan they couldnāt get last time. Everything looks good. Even the hypospadius they thought they saw last time and the spine hungry they thought they saw - were all gone. Everything looks great and baby is growing right on track. The heart report will go to my dr so hopefully itās more good news. But huge huge sigh of relief again.
