1. Weirdest food...beef tongue! 2. What I refuse to eat. Hmm. If we are not talking about things I cannot eat, then I'd go with cheeseburgers with American cheese. I just can't do it. Last time I had one, I was pretty young and it made me feel so sick. Just imagining the mouth feel makes me I'll. 3. Favorite food! Smoked salmon or Maryland crabs with butter 4. Go to snack salt and vinegar chips. Yummy

1. I think probably dog. I've witnessed the eating of balut, but just couldn't bring myself to do it!
2. Excepting food that makes me sick, I absolutely cannot eat a cooked tomato that isn't pureed into sauce. The texture is ugh and the smell (when there aren't spices added) is just awful.
3. This one is hard... I'm going to go with seafood so I can claim both sushi and steampots.
4. Cheese in any form, but cheese with fruit is the best!

1. Weirdest food - Hmmm... I guess escargot. Snails are kind of weird. (It's delicious)
2. Refuse to eat - I'll try anything, but refuse to ever eat balut. And liver. The texture... Dear Lloyd...
3. Favorite food - This one is tough. I'd say crab dip. I will never, ever turn down crab dip.
4. Go-to snack - If we're talking healthy snack, cheese/nuts/fruit. If we're talking junk, sweet and spicy Doritos. YUM.

1. What's the weirdest food you've ever eaten? Donkey (meh), dog (yum - but I won't eat it again), duck tongues (yecchh!!), fish eyes (ick), various offal (spent lots of time in China.) 2. What do you absolutely refuse to eat? Raw onions. 3. What's your favorite food? Sashimi! 4. What's your go-to snack? Lately, rice cakes. I'm always hungry (we're on a healthy eating kick), and when I start looking through cupboards and whining "I'm still hungry" DH always responds with, "May I offer you a rice cake?" When I take him up on it, they're so boring that I decide food sucks and move on to other things, so I guess it works? menrandes I'm with you, I'm very anti-American cheese. hawkward and oldbaylover1024 - DH was the second guy I met IRL from Christian Mingle, but the first was a total a*shole who thought it was hilarious to upset me by describing balut, especially after I told him about my beloved pet dove.

sunshiney That’s so mean! We were at the wedding of a friend with a very traditional Filipino family. I try to never refuse a traditional food like that but I just couldn't eat that.

Welp I just googled Balut. Oof. I actually have seen it at work bc half of my coworkers are Filipino. Don’t think I paid enough attention when they were telling me what that was. I did not eat it. I think I may have found something I will refuse to try. 🤢
