This has been floating (not flossing, autocorrect) around my Facebook feed for a couple weeks but in case anyone didn’t see it - a three minute video demonstrating an illustration of dilation/effacement/Braxton Hicks/real contractions.
I’ve given birth twice, but was still thrilled.

www.preciouslittlesleep.com/what-you-need-to-know-about-sleeping-through-the-night-part-i/ - I will sing this book/blog/associated Facebook group's praises forever and ever amen. If I can make only one recommendation to new parents ever, it will be to read Alexis Dubief's evidence-based wisdom about baby sleep. In the delirium of the neverending 4-month sleep regression, this saved my sanity and gave me tools to figure out why my baby was broken and how to fix it. www.kellymom.com - A truly invaluable resource for any and all breastfeeding questions, including a whole "is this normal?" section.
