Have you started your nursery yet? If so, how far along are you, and how far along are you in getting it done?
I ask because this one and DD1 will be sharing a room. DD is currently in the crib (as a toddler bed), and we'll transition her to a twin bed. I'm only 16 weeks, and I don't really remember when I planned nurseries the last 3 times.. and this time is a little different since she will be staying in her current room.. and moving to a different bed.
Anyway - just trying to see where you all are at!

I have most of the decorations and the crib for the nursery. I just need my H to make space in the basement for some of the currently unused baby stuff which is occupying space in that room. Then I need him to paint.
I'm hoping to have a lot of the work done by Christmas, so I'll be around 27 weeks, but we'll see.
I think at this point with my first the nursery was done except for things I got at my shower.

We have not started and likely won't until January, when all of our things are more stable. Right now we have a friend living with us that should be moving out by the end of the year (and, really, hopefully the month) and might be taking on my SIL. So, depending on how everything shakes out, we'll probably start either shortly into or late into January.

I'm 21 weeks and we are waiting until after Thanksgiving. That is the last holiday guest we have scheduled to stay in the guest bedroom. Anytime after that, we will move the full sized bed into DS's room and start making the guest bedroom into a nursery. We have plenty of time but I'm anxious to do it because DS really, really needs a bigger bed. Poor kid barely has any room in his own bed (which is still a toddler bed! He is 5!)

Well... H brought home the crib last night (he bought it from his coworker) since A is still in hers and I'm in no real hurry to switch her over and want her to do it in her own time. All that really needs done is we need to paint the room the two youngest will be sharing and move A into it sometime after Christmas. I'll transfer A's decor into there and then add more as needed once the baby is born (we're team green, I think).

I just got the bedding for the nursery. I need to get everything taken out of the room so I can paint it. Right now it has all of DD's baby toys, baby clothes, and who knows what else in there. I want to start painting before I get too big and it's hard to do. DH is a horrible painter, and although he would help I'd rather just do it myself.

I think I'm wanting the nursery done because it'll make it feel like the end is nearer. I already feel like I've been pregnant for years so it feels like I'm very late on getting things done.

We’ll be bed sharing with this nursling so I won’t be doing a nursery really. I need to organize DS’s room (they’ll be sharing eventually) to accommodate additional storage for the baby but that’s about it. I’ll do that after the holidays when I can get the money together to get everything. I’m 22 weeks now so we’re talking early-ish third trimester most likely.

I likely won't get to mine until after Christmas. Right now the nursery is the playroom and we are developing my basement so I need a lot of that to be completed so I can move the toys down there and then set up the nursery. Its all a caregully orchestrated dance and it makes me stress hard every once in a while when I think that its already November. But I'm sure baby will just hang out in my room for a while anyways.

At 22 weeks.
I've started.....obsessing about colors/theme.
Monday we find out sex so I'll start....making actual decisions about decor and sewing and hopefully refinish the dresser we bought.
When we will actually move the office downstairs? When DH finishes the crib he says he's going to make this winter? We shall see.

I know what I want to do but haven't done it yet. We just found out we're team blue yesterday and I think it's more real for my husband now so he's talking about doing all the things.
I sell LuLaRoe and currently my boutique is where the nursery will be so we first have to move the boutique to the basement before we can start the nursery. So much work to do. :/

My almost-2 year old is moving in with her big brother, so I'm hoping her room will be vacated in the next month or two - by the new year?
I'm going to move some of her decor and paintings and stuff (no theme) into their shared room, and change things up a bit for the new baby. Her current curtains are dusty pink and sort of retro-cute, but I think it's time for something new. Hah.
I need to find a larger dresser for the two kids to share - H's is quite small and I don't want to move M's as it is bracketed to the wall, and... I am lazy.

This baby and DS will likely be sharing a room. Our house is set up weird, so the room that DH and I currently sleep in might become the children’s room because it is bigger than the room DS is currently in. DH and I would then move our bed to DS room. I am not sure if this will happen before or after baby. Baby may just be sleeping in a crib in DH’s and my room to start. I am still trying to convince DH to move to a house with a better layout b

I think we'll be bedsharing again so there isn't much to do really?
We're hoping to buy in the later part of 2018 so maybe then baby will get it's own room.

Crib is up, everything is in the middle of the room because we will be painting, but not until January for logistical purposes. Still hemming and hawing over a color... anyone willing to share the shade you've used or will be using?

I think I'm going to paint it blue.. valspars Sonic Sky. I painted DDs room that color a few months ago and really like it. But I hate picking out paint colors, so I admit being lazy by not buying a bunch of paint samples to find a different shade.

I’m almost 24 weeks. FTM so we’re starting from scratch with all things baby.
We painted the room and got new carpet last year. We have the crib and glider ordered and expect them to be coming in Dec-Jan. We have an ikea dresser that needs put together. I’d like to get a cube organizer or some sort of shelf, but I need to see what will fit when we get all the necessary furniture in.
Right now the room is full of random things that we need to go through, store, or get rid of. We just found out the gender so we’re trying to figure out decor. I’m probably just going to browse around for wall decor that I really like and base the rest off of that. I sort of feel like March 3 is going to sneak up on us with the holidays and everything, so I probably need to get moving.

We finally moved DD to her new room last weekend so we can now start on the nursery. We got DD new furniture so the crib and dresser are already set up and ready. Right now it is painted gray with an accent purple wall. If this baby is a girl we will keep it the same and switch up the wall decor. If it's a boy we will paint and get new wall decor.

We won't be painting - except for maybe ONE wall that is currently a seafoam green color to purple. The room has a purple wall already where her crib is, but since we'll be moving things around, I feel like both girls need a purple wall. I dunno. We'll see. One wall is SUPER easy to do.
Also, do you think it is unrealistic for me to ask DH to move the furniture out of the room so I can clean the carpets.....I don't think so.. right?
I'm thinking I'll wait until our level 2 to order DD1 bed and bedding for both. I'll be 20 weeks, so I think that's probably okay enough to start things, right?

Like Rama we have family living with us. My aunt and teenage boy cousin (15 in Jan), although we have no end date. We are building a room in the basement for my cousin to move in to. DH and FIL started last week and are hopeful that it will be finished by the new year. As soon as we have him settled in the basement I can start decorating his old room for the nursery. We need to buy a boy crib but already have a recliner/glider and possibly a dresser (it is antique from H's grandma so still deciding if I want to use it in there). Besides some small decor things like shelves and frames, I don't think we will have too much to do in there! ETA- I'm 16 weeks currently

DS will move into DD#2's nursery and she'll move in w/ DD#1. Depending on how we feel he'll either enjoy a beautiful purple and white lace/antique feeling nursery or come February DH will stay up in the middle of the night and I'll wake up to navy blue walls and grey drapes. We'll see I guess.

I have exactly zero motivation and even less ideas for the nursery. I think i may just wait it out and decorate after the baby is born.

Probably after the holidays. It’s been our “junk room” since we moved in so we’ve got a lot of stuff to clear out before we can start buying stuff.

After the holidays. Baby will be sharing a room with DS since we're in a 2BR, and I anticipate that the baby will be in a PNP in our room for at least a few months.
I would like to map out if we can fit another small dresser in their room. I think we'll be buying another convertible crib, too - DS is quite happy in his crib so I'm happy to leave him in there until he's in college. I guess we'll see how the timing works out with when we're ready to transition them to actually sharing a room at night?
I really wish that we had a third bedroom. Both for sleep sanity reasons, and so I had a space to nest and decorate for the new baby.

Seriously for those of you who have friends/family living with you my thoughts are with you. In our case, having my SIL live with us would also only be temporary and not so bad. She is amazing and would basically be like living with my best friend until she graduates in May and then gets a job. I mean, obvs, having our house to ourselves would be ideal, but having an experienced helping hand (she's cared for our friend's two young kids since they were born) isn't something I'm exactly dreading.

Seriously for those of you who have friends/family living with you my thoughts are with you. It started out as temporary, she was buying a house but the contract fell through so they've been with us since. It's actually been really really helpful. She's the one who takes DD to my grandparents for the day when she drops my cousin off at school, and brings them home too. It isn't how I imagined life would be per say, but it's been pretty good so far:)

This baby will share with her big sister but not til she's somewhere in the 6m to year range. Big sister is sharing with her brothers now, we're in the middle of construction for another bedroom. Hopefully all that will be done by the end of January so that's when I'll get to work on the room. I'm pinning stuff now.
