1. My coffee maker is my favorite thing in the world right now.
2. I didn't get enough sleep last night.
3. At my last post-surgery check-up, I was told I could have caffeine again. Thank goodness because 7 months with no caffeine was about 8 months too long.
4. I'm currently obsessed with a blog about a woman who dyes her own yarn with plants from her garden.
5. I now have big plans for raiding my mother's garden and dying wool this spring.
6. See? Obsessed.
7. Soccer is finally completely over and we only have one weekly evening activity. I'm officially in hibernation mode.
8. My coach friend is talking about taking over the program next year and wants me to help if we're still living here. I can't decide if that's the best or worst idea ever.
9. I've been spending every evening knitting, and I think I may actually get Christmas presents done early this year.
10. I think I'll dig out my band saw this afternoon and make some wooden blocks.

1. MH and I had the day off yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. It was nice to just be together for a day. 2. We played mini-golf and he won. I'm salty 3. I also cheated on my Whole30 yesterday. Oops. Don't judge me, boxerific! 4. I'm back on track today. Actually, yesterday wasn't too bad - we went out to lunch and it was impossible to find anything compliant. Whatever. Again, I'm back on track today. 5. And I'm hittin' the gym after work. Woo hoo! 6. I wish I had the rest of the week off. We're so busy this weekend... I want sleep. 7. We have three - count 'em, three - Halloween events between Friday and Tuesday, not including actual Halloween. 8. Our house will have so much candy. Stupid Whole30... 9. I better lose weight on this diet. At least 10 lbs. 10. If not, I will be salty. And craving dairy and sugar and carbs and beans and... all the things.

OMG I picked the worst week to start this thing LOL Our wedding anniversary was Tuesday and we already had a day-date planned for Wednesday, including going out to eat. So we totally cheated Wednesday at lunch. We were good for breakfast and dinner, but lunch... whoa. And AF arrived Wednesday, so all I've been craving is carbs covered with butter covered with sugar. And sprinkles. Dipped in chocolate. Paired with a nice martini LMAO
BUT I've done well this week. Cutting sugar has been the hardest (it's in EVERYTHING), and I miss carbs (desperately), but can live without them.
I've lost 4 lbs. this week. I'm positive it's mainly water, but I'll take it.
So, I'd give myself an 8/10 for week one.
Oh! And Lara Bars are a lifesaver. The apple pie ones are pretty good.

It’s not Thursday but eh, who cares...
1) I finally got one of those reusable k-cup things and I’m so thrilled.
2) I really don’t want to spend tomorrow cleaning my van out but goodness it needs to be vacuumed.
3) I’m feel all sorts of antsy like I *need* to do something and I can’t figure out how to stop feeling like that. It’s driving me bonkers.
4) my water bottle keeps leaking but I left my nice one at my sister’s house when I was helping her paint the other day.
5) H was watching the new Planet of the Apes movie (idk what the actual title is), so I came in our bedroom to watch Netflix on the laptop but the old dinosaur wouldn’t load. Sigh. So I ended up watching it on my phone. Not ideal.
6) I want to learn how to crochet some little flowers I saw but I’m terrible with that kind of thing. I’m wondering if I should start though anyway?
7) seriously I need to get rid of some of this antsy-ness.
8) H keeps taking my 3rd pillow. He has done it for the past 3-4 nights and I’m considering smothering him with it in his sleep if he does it again.
9) I can’t decide if I want to go to bed right now or not...
10) man I need to shave my legs. The prickles are annoying.
