From the randoms thread yesterday:
I strongly dislike the Hocus Pocus movie. I do not get the obsession with it.

I have jury duty today and I'm happy about it. I was greatly disappointed that I got dismissed from jury duty via text.

I don’t believe you should argue with a spouse in public. Even if they are wrong you support them in public and check them behind closed doors. I agree with a few exceptions.

It is so awkward when married couples argue in front of me.

Shiplap is just horizontal wood paneling. * UO brought to you by being sick and watching too much HGTV I agree, and while I LOVE LOVE Jojo and Chip... I don't find shiplap to be that pretty. And I wonder.... where is the insulation? Is it behind it? Or is it just a wall made of wood?

If it's old, there may or may not be insulation. It's probably only 3/4" thick. There's room for r-value.

At least this is real wood though, unlike the 70's particle board paneling. We found some on what was our rear sleeping porch. We're keeping it exposed for now, and our whole house is clad in it under the stucco.

I actually agree with 🍍 🍊 Fineapple 🍍 🍊 but I think I quick, hushed "whatthemotherfuck" and a deadly glare can suffice in public most times. But 🍍 🍊 Fineapple 🍍 🍊 are you more referring to times when you and your spouse are at odds with each other only? Or you ate involved in a larger group discussion and your spouse says some shit you do not agree with but you offer public support? Yes this.
We have friends that fight all the time no matter what and it is so uncomfortable. I remember the one time that we argued in front of them and they were shocked because they thought we didn't argue. No it is because there is a time and a place and I give him the look of death and then we continue on with our time, but it gets talked about at home.

And although it’s hilarious to me picturing him in a large gather talking to people (antisocial AF) if he says some shit I don’t agree with I would drop a quick side eye but not I’m checking him. Or a quick “WTF text” This.. but I'm not sure if I'm on a moral high ground or just passive aggressive AF

I think airlines need to make checked bags free and limit carry-ons to a bookbag or smaller. Something that can fit under the seat in front of you. I hate having to wait for everyone to try and figure out where to put their roll on that looks WAY too small for the overhead. And then waiting again for them to get it down without murdering the people near them.
I also think they should load from the back of the plane front. I know studies have been done to show it's not effective but I don't buy it.

I don't see the point in those paper toilet covers. They're not going to save your bum; it's all in your head. This is a UO in my office, but I agree with you. A thin layer of tissue will not save you from whatever lurks on the seat. The germs probably swarm the tissue before you stand up anyway.

The few times I've tried to give H The Look in public he loudly asks a version of "What? What's that look for?"
He's outsmarted me.

I still maintain that a costume Wedding sounds stupid AF. Costume encouraged/optional = fun Costume mandatory = pain in the ass
