We usually take our shoes off as soon as we come home out of habit. But if we have guests over, it's fine if they leave shoes on. We don't regulate visitor footwear LOL

No shoes ever! I've chilled about it now that everyone is healthy, but in the past I've asked visitors to take their shoes off as well.
In our last rental, we had white carpet. It was ridiculous to maintain even with taking shoes off.

I take shoes off every time, even in other peoples' houses. I ask my guests to do the same most of the time.

Oops I answered this in the other one. I take em off once I hit the living room or bedroom. I don't require others to, but the last few guests all took their shoes off before coming in, so maybe I give off that vibe? I am usually barefoot or in socks, up that's cuz I like to throw my feet up on my couch and ottoman.
