Halloween is only about a month away!
What are your LO's planning to dress up as?

DD1 will most likely be going as Elsa. We have a blue princess dress that could pass for a Frozen dress. I just need to get some Elsa type accessories.
DS wants to be a construction worker or a train conductor. Fortunately we already have dress up costumes for both.
DD2 (age 2) will likely end up going as a princess (we've gotten lots of hand me down princess dresses!). But she has also been saying she wants to go as a kitty, so we'll see....

I haven't even started thinking about this yet. I really should since DD2 is due any second, but it seems like there are 100 other things clamoring for my attention.

I will delete soon but here are my little ones, a bear and policeman. My older boys are going to be a grim reaper, and some guy from assassins creed. Funny thing is my kids aren't allowed to play assassins creed, but he found this cool hoodie from the game and loved it. My oldest 13 so no costume :/

I just asked DD what she wants to be for Halloween and she said either a bear or a sheep. Pretty random, haha. In reality both kids will probably end up being whatever I can find in their size at Salvation Army when they put their costumes out. I am so terrible at coming up with costume ideas. And they usually end up being freezing on trick-or-treat night because a lot of costumes really aren't that warm, and layering underneath doesn't always work that well. On second thought, a bear or sheep costume might be good at keeping them warm!

My kid wanted to be a dinosaur, then a fish, then a cat, now a minion. He's going to be whatever of those I find first at a decent price. The little one is going to be a puppy I think.

DD is going as Princess Poppy from the Trolls movie. I might be as excited as she is.

DS wants to go as Wall-E and has asked me to make DD an Eve costume. I'll be spending some time at Michael's this week. 🙂

Captain america and Superman
We got so lucky. Our Feb 13 kid asked to be captain America again (re wear from last year) and our 3 year old doesn't care at all and was thrilled with the hand me down superman costume from his brother.
They are both ridiculously excited about the decorations and general talk about Halloween.

We finally decided on Minnie Mouse for DD1 and a firefighter for DS. I'm hoping I can convince him to re-wear his firefighter costume from last year, but he spotted a new one at Target while we were buying DD1's costume and is insisting on it. I don't dress them up when they are babies, but DD2 has a Halloween onesie she'll wear out. (Yes, I need to post her birth story, but things have been nuts and I'm not sure how often the board gets visited these days. :-( )

We've got Harry Potter (7 year old) and Batman (Feb13). It took a massive campaign to get DS2 not to also be Harry Potter, which was very distressing to my big guy. But really the little guy just wants to do what ever his big brother thinks is cool.

I'm really on the fence right now. Do we go with costumes we have at home or get new ones bc that's fun and they are only little once?!

DD1 will be Ariel from Little Mermaid. We got the costume on sale after Halloween last year. And DD2 will wear a light up Barbie dress that MIL bought a few years ago as dress up that has never been used.
