Thanks for the check in!
How far along are you? EDD?
10 weeks, 4-9-18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Physically I'm still so exhausted. I'm sure that is partly due to my 2 younger kids who suck at sleeping.
Emotionally I'm all over the place these days.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
I have a doppler check and blood work for my Mat21 test on Wednesday.
Any other word vomit to share? I've been able to find baby's heartbeat on my doppler everyday. It's so reassuring.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality?
My favorite physical feature is my smile and my favorite personality trait is how friendly I am. This was really hard, by the way, lol. I can think of a million things I'd love to change about myself, but really struggled with what I liked.

How far along are you? EDD? 17+4, 2/15
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I feel really good. Second tri is treating me well so far. I definitely have a bump, but it isn't getting in my way just yet. Emotionally I'm getting more and more nervous as my anatomy scan approaches. I don't have any particular reason to worry, but 10 days feels like forever right now.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Anatomy scan on the 21st, nothing else soon.
Any other word vomit to share? A coworker admitted to me today that she asked one of my friends if I was pregnant. She thought I looked "different" but didn't want to ask me for obvious reasons. First time that I know of that someone has guessed! Now I'm wondering if my students suspect, but I'm willing to believe they are oblivious.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? I like having full lips, I think they save my face from being pretty plain. I think I'm funny, it's a nice quality to have because it helps me connect with my students.

How far along are you? EDD? 11,3 EDD 3/30/18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically still tired, but I've recovered my appetite. Emotionally better than last week, thank goodness.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? OB follow up on Sept 25. We heard the heartbeat on our doppler for the first time this past weekend, so that was a looot of reassurance.
Any other word vomit to share? Not that I can think of. Gotta get my early glucose test and about a billion other blood draws done before Thursday.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? I guess my favorite physical feature is my waist and my favorite personality trait is empathy/compassion.

How far along are you? EDD? 24w Jan 2 (RCS scheduled 12/28)
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically - I'm having a lot of hip pain and I keep waking up with numb hands because I am sleeping on them. I did this last time too. I'm a weirdo. Emotionally - pretty good. I feel the PPA creeping up again. I wasn't diagnosed until I had my daughter but I can spot some of the signs.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next appt is 9/27 for OB and glucose test
Any other word vomit to share? We leave for vacation in a week! This is my first week off work this year and it is needed.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? Hmmm I would say my height. Before having DD I would have said my legs but I'm out of shape now so I'll stick with height. Personality - compassion for others

How far along are you? EDD? 9w3d - 4/14/18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? 🎉🎉I PASSED MY LOSS MILESTONES 🎉🎉 Still nauseous and tired, but WOOOO HOOOO!
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? We had an appointment today and saw a happy healthy baby measuring 10w1d and HB 162. Over the moon, it was so nerve wracking to get here.
Second appt on Friday bc apparently UHC doesn't allow an us and an office visit on the same day anymore. WTF?? Usually they do office visit first and us later but I had them reverse it bc I wanted to see baby first due to my other losses.
Any other word vomit to share? I'm kind of still in shock a bit, like somebody pinch me? Almost like I don't want to get too excited in case the other shoe drops? But then I'm also like screaming yay! inside.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? Physical : I like legs but most people tell me smile. Personality: always wanting to take care of everyone else

How far along are you? EDD? 27w 4d
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically, I feel exhausted and uncomfortable. Emotionally, I'm feeling more anxious because I failed my one-hour GD test yesterday. I'd like to skip the three-hour because it would be a waste of time and make me feel like garbage and just treat the GD we know I have. *TW - LC* I had it with my daughter too, and my numbers are virtually identical to the one-hour test with her. I just find myself worrying about GD complications, even though my daughter was perfectly healthy. I also have historically had issues with depression/anxiety and I had a major anxiety/panic/stress attack on Sunday due to a spat with my husband spiraling.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next OB visit in two weeks. I'm waiting for her to call me back because I'd like to get a growth scan ASAP and meet with the MFM to discuss the impact of the GD.
Any other word vomit to share? I'm feeling all sorts of feelings about the GD. I know it's likely due to other things, like the general uptick in anxiety, but that doesn't help me feel any better.
QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? My favorite physical feature is probably the shape of my eyes. Personality wise, it's hard to pick a quality (see above re depression/anxiety issues) but I think in general I feel the most confident/proud of my intelligence/preparedness - I research and I come prepared for whatever situations I might encounter.

I'm just delurking since I don't 'technically' go here, but have to say, it is so nice to have a place where PGAL mommas can get together and have some additional reassurance and support. Even though it's been over 10 years since my last m/c and I've had 3 healthy pregnancies resulting in kids , it still wreaks havoc on my brain now that I'm expecting again.

How far along are you? EDD? 25w 4d, 23/12 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically good, we've just come back from holidays so I'm still all relaxed. Emotionally better: I feel a lot of movement/kicks and that does wonders to reassure me. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Had an OBGYN appointment this morning, everything is good and she gave me contact details of the physio who'll attend delivery. Any other word vomit to share? I need to go for the glucose test this week or next and I'm anxious about it for no other reason than OMG please don't take my chocolate away from me. QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? Physical: my lips Personality: I feel confident that I am smart (when not pregnant )

Waffle, even if you do fail, and I of course hope you do not, you can likely still eat chocolate. I have the biggest sweet tooth and I was able to eat sweets still last pregnancy - it was actually the more complex starches like potatoes and rice that would trip me up. That said, my cereal-sized bowl of chocolate peanut butter ice cream AFTER a pasta dinner (which was a pass!) was a fail. But I'm sure a normal desert-sized bowl would have been fine. I'm "stress testing" my diet to see where the boundaries are.

yianna, I'm confused by your statement - if you're pregnant after a loss, regardless of the outcome of your last pregnancy, you go here/are welcome here.

How far along are you? EDD? 26w4d. 12/16 How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically ok. Starting to get BH today. Emotionally I didn't realize how anxious I still was. My brother told me they were expecting 2 weeks ago; like I was the only one they told. He called me yesterday after their 8 week appt and I literally sobbed on the phone when he told me they saw the heartbeat and baby. I was really scared they would have our first appt experience and I couldn't handle my baby brother enduring that. But I didn't realize until that moment how much anxiety I was holding on for them. I also decided that I needed to face it, so I finally announced on FB today. We did a family pic holding frames saying pretty much this: Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Another 2 weeks for my glucose test and a sizing US. Any other word vomit to share? I pretty much word vomited above, so nope. QotW: Let's feel good about ourselves this week! What is your favorite physical feature AND what is your favorite thing about your personality? ummmm, feature I guess maybe my long fingers and nails?? Personality would be my loyalty.

yianna There are many women in PGAL who have rainbows and we know that PGAL stress and anxiety doesn't disappear even after living children. I hope you'll feel free to post here if you'd like to!

I'll admit that my consumption of chocolate/cookies/all the sweet stuff has gone up a lot since wine is (mostly) off the table.

ldubhawksfan I love your announcement. I think it's beautiful and perfect. I may borrow part of your idea, if that's okay? Glad to hear about your brother too. I'm sure you're both relieved and happy for him. Lots of hugs for all the anxiety you've been feeling. ❤

I'm sure you're both relieved and happy for him. Lots of hugs for all the anxiety you've been feeling. ❤ That isn't our actual picture, it was one I found that gave me the idea. Ours was.....not that well done! Lol So is life! (Ps I shared my actual frizzy haired, crazy dog picture on our chat yesterday) But yes, I think it would be beautiful to honor your sweet babies in the same way when you announce. ❤️ Thank you friend!!
