Things that have made me irrationally happy today: baby is the size of a brussels sprout.

So for the past few days I've been thinking I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions but put it out of my head because it seemed way too early. But I looked it up yesterday and it apparently is not abnormal and completely fine. It just seems so weird (and annoying) to ALREADY be having them. And probably a sign I need to focus on drinking more. I swear they come earlier with each pregnancy - but I think it's because you already know what they feel like.

One of my apps actually said lime which seems so much bigger than a brussel sprout to me and made me happy. yianna, based on what I read, you're right. Most women do get them this early but with your first pregnancy you just don't notice them. I don't really remember having them until like 22 weeks last time.

I had a great first appt this morning. Baby is measuring right on track. HB was 176. I feel so relieved. I had a lot of anxiety about this appt.

+1 on the lazy sack of poo. I cannot continue to feel like this much longer. My kids will destroy my house and they deserve to do a little more than wander aimlessly around the house. I let them paint this morning. They loved it, but now there's a big mess to clean up. 😞

If you are feeling bad and haven't tried the B6/unisom combo, you should. I feel like a new person the past 2 days.

I got my Doppler in yesterday but I'm going to wait on using it since my doctor couldn't get the heartbeat using his yesterday. I've been so anxious this pregnancy but seeing the baby wiggle and move around yesterday helped a lot. I got to see it's face and it made me so happy and excited. It's starting to look more like a baby and I'm really looking forward to my NT next week.

My midwife had me come in to try the Doppler, since she's more experienced than the NP, and we got it! I can relax finally.

cornpop I had a loooot of BH with DS from around 16 weeks until delivery. I noticed some earlier this pregnancy but brushed it off, I'm for sure getting them now and feel less crazy hearing others are too.

My DD started dance class again today and I forgot how cute she is in her little leo! We had a donut date before class and it was like the best donut I've ever eaten🤤

I've had a horrible headache since last night that is making me nauseous. Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. I really miss ibuprofen right now.
In happier news, Mh wanted to try the Doppler last night and we were able to find the heartbeat! Reviews said the reading can be inaccurate but it picked it up at 135 bpm which wasn't that far off from the 145 bpm at my appt. Dd was around and listened too and she was so excited. She keeps talking about how she'll hold and cuddle the baby when it comes and it makes me so happy seeing her so excited.

Is anyone else having weird eye symptoms? I vaguely remember feeling the same way during my last pregnancy but my eyes feel tired and are super sensitive to heat/pressure. (I.e. It hurts to face the shower spray). I think it's just a lot of sinus pressure but it really annoying.

I know that wasn't surprising to my eye doc... maybe related?

I'm a little annoyed at DH today. I didn't sleep good last night, I've been vomiting despite taking zofran, and I've been dealing with a cranky 4 year old all day. DH left this morning at 9:30. He went to help a friend move, then he went to the comic store to play games. Normally he stays out anywhere between 11pm and 1am. I'm thinking he might be the one getting up with DD tomorrow morning.

I think I had a headache or migraine at least the first 20 weeks. Dark chocolate or a little Coke helped the most. I stopped bothering with the Tylenol because it didn't help in the least.

Good luck today Leaf 🌱! A day date sounds lovely. This weekend was..meh. Saturday my daughter had her first mommy & me gymnastics class which she really loved. And I felt pretty okay. Until after dinner then I was sick all night, all day yesterday and so far today. Womp. I can no longer keep water or gatorade down. The only thing I seem to be okay with is sprite which is super healthy. And we're out of it. But we did get a picture for our pregnancy announcement for Wednesday so I'm excited about that.

We start our Bradley classes tonight! I'm excited. Hopefully the instructor doesn't mind me eating my dinner during class, because I'll be going there straight from work and there's no way I can wait to eat until 9 pm.

It seemed a little soon to me too, but when I called for info, she said she had another couple looking into classes due in Dec so she wanted to start ASAP since there are 12 weeks of classes. She's going to offer 2 extra review sessions in Jan/Feb which I'm happy about because I feel like I'll forget everything from Dec to March.

Well I just looked at our instructor's site and she just started a class last week :/ also the classes are 7pm to 9:30pm which will only work if DH is working an 11-7 shift, but not the 7-7 shift(nights). I'm getting discouraged that we won't actually be able to take the class. Insurance doesn't cover these classes, does it??

alwayscheese Our insurance wouldn't cover it. Not sure how big your town is, but are there any other instructors in your area?

Only one Bradley instructor within about 5 hours :/ clementine at least that's all that comes up on Bradley Birth.com. There will be plenty of other types of classes around, but I like that Bradley focuses a lot on educating the partner
