Ok, I just took my first 25mg dose of B6. What time of day do you take it? Morning and evening? Morning/afternoon/evening? When I was taking 25mg I took it when I woke up, then four hours later and four hours after that. Now that I'm taking 50mg I'm taking it when I wake up and when I take my unisom before bed.

Ok, I just took my first 25mg dose of B6. What time of day do you take it? Morning and evening? Morning/afternoon/evening? I was taking it at night when I would take Unisom with it. For me, it didn't do anything without the Unisom so I didn't take it during the day because the Unisom made me too sleepy. It was a lifesaver at night though because that is when my nausea would be the worst.

Ditto. I usually take it at 9pm and it lasts through the next day, though at bedtime I start feeling queasy again.
But then I take it, and voila.

I took it once and it didn't seem to do much but I'm going to try again.
I'm so nauseated that I can't watch GBBO because all the food disgusts me.

I'm not nearly as sick this pregnancy as I was for my first. And that is, of course, making me worry like no other.

rm2013 Crazy, huh? I found my DD's heart rates early too. Lots of YouTube videos and patience (it took me the better part of 35 minutes a few times to find it). Also, I use headphones with my doppler at this stage, since the heartbeat can be quite faint. It's a lot easier to find it that way instead of just using the doppler speaker. I almost always find the heartbeat close to another swooshing sound.

I have a SERIOUS food baby blump going on right now. I need to invest in some flowy tops and find my belly band bc this is not a cute look. I thought you were supposed to get a bump early and the pregnancy was supposed to speed by the second time around. Apparently people are lying liars bc that is not happening over here. I ordered a sonoline B Doppler off eBay bc the Amazon was basically the dumbest, most worthless thing ever. It should get here by Saturday! yianna I'm right there with you. I've been sleeping like the dead and literally dream about crawling back into bed all day long. How are you doing today cornpop?

Thanks for asking Leaf 🌱. I only had the little bit of spotting and no cramps so I'm guessing I'm okay. I think I'm going to be a little on edge until my ultrasound next Wednesday though.

We couldn't find a heartbeat using the Doppler today. I'm anxious and upset.

babybean Was this at a doctors appointment? I know it's hard to not worry. I'm not sure if it helps any, but I specifically remember having troubles finding my DD2's heartbeat between 12-16 weeks. My OB told me they're really active at that stage and still have room to move around so it's almost like chasing the active baby to find the heartbeat. I hope that makes sense and gives you a little comfort. Will you be able to try again soon?

It was at the doctors, he tried for quite a while then said it's normal at this point and not a cause for concern. I think because I had my NT scan early I'm antsy about something having gone wrong between then and now. I'm 13w tomorrow and have a midwife appointment next Wednesday, hopefully we can pick it up then.
DS came with and was hard to manage so I think I'm feeling extra stressed. I know it can be normal so feel silly worrying so much because there's no red flags at this point. I feel more snappy and anxious this pregnancy.
Thanks for the reassurance!

I'm sorry babybean. I'm about a week behind you and had an appt this morning and my doctor couldn't find the HB using the Doppler either. Luckily they have an ultrasound in house so he was able to find it that way but baby kept moving so it was even hard to get a good reading with the ultrasound. I hope the next week goes by fast til your next appt.

Ugh babybean that's the worst. I hope Wednesday's appointment is better. Any one have a suggestion for being better about hydrating? Pre-pregnancy I'd drink 100oz of water easily thanks to baby's left over from nursing. Now, I can barely force myself to finish a glass of water. It gives me acid reflux and just kind of tastes like trash.

I'm sorry babybean , I know that has to be really anxiety-inducing. It's still early for finding the heartbeat on the Doppler, but I hope you get some reassurance next week at your midwife appt.

Has anyone's hair stopped falling out yet? I can't for the life of me remember when that happened when I was pregnant with DS, but I definitely remember a good length of time where I wasn't shedding almost at all. And then the hair loss at like 3 months postpartum was insane.

I liked the flavored Dasani sparkling water for a while, but I seem to pay for it with stomach aches later in the day. I got some Mio type water enhancers, but the flavors I got aren't love.

I cannot tolerate water but give me a large fountain coke and I am in heaven. I've cut coffee out completely so I can "save" my caffeine for a coke. Omg I'm practically drooling now. I usually drink a seltzer a day but I hate it right now. Same with CFA lemonade. If this kid permanently costs me my love for that lemonade I will never let them hear the end of it.

Leaf 🌱, You made me laugh! DD and I were looking at pictures this morning on fb, and we saw one of my cousins 5 yo daughter. DD asks me if she can be her sister. She got very pouty and upset with me when I told her no, she's her cousin. Now I'm curious what she's going to say when I tell her she is getting a little brother or sister.

I rarely used to drink them before and now I want one every day. Coffee doesn't taste good to me anymore so I've pretty much stopped drinking that. I'm over ginger ale and can't stand the way it tastes anymore.

babybean ((hugs)), hopefully Wednesday's appt will be better. Leaf 🌱 I haven't had too many troubles w/ water (only if it gets too close to room temp), but my bestie did w/ her last pregnancy. Things she did included keeping it ice ice cold and adding lemon to it. I think she also used Crystal Light type mix-ins to help w/ the taste. I'm not a regular soda drinker non-pg, but give me ALL the root beer lately.

babybean They couldn't pick up DD's heartbeat on a doppler until 16 weeks. Even then they couldn't catch it all the time. They were never worried about it. I'm sure everything is fine. It's just the position of baby and placenta. I'm sure everything will go well at your next appointment and they'll be able to find the heart beat.

I can only imagine what the 3m pp will be this time... it's gotten progressively worse each time. Bleh.

So for the past few days I've been thinking I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions but put it out of my head because it seemed way too early. But I looked it up yesterday and it apparently is not abnormal and completely fine. It just seems so weird (and annoying) to ALREADY be having them. And probably a sign I need to focus on drinking more.
