Just for fun, how many teeth does your LO have?
How is brushing going?

DD just got a new one. She now has four top and four bottom front teeth.
She thinks brushing is fun and is getting pretty decent at it. She has a fun light up toothbrush and berry flavored toothpaste.

The left half of her canines are in, the right half are just about to break through and causing another round of cranky, fussy, bad-sleeping kiddo.
After that just her two year molars need to come in.
I'll be glad when teething is over.

We have them all! Her first dental appointment is in September. She may even have her two year molars - I am not sure. She brushes with the banana brush that someone - I think scorpioscuba recommended.

All for canines broke through last week and two year molars are currently bulging. I am so ready to be done with this process.
He loves teeth brushing, just like DD...like would walk around brushing most of the day if I were to let him.
We went to a dental clinic at DD's preschool in the spring and the dentist checked him out too. So far both kids have good teeth and good spacing between them, so we're good until next spring.

She's missing her canines and 2-yr molars. She only had 2 teeth on her 1st birthday, then this spring she got 10 teeth in 11 weeks. It was fun. I hope we get a nice long break until her canines come in.
She loves brushing her teeth bc she feels like she's a big girl watching her big sisters. She hates the dentist, though, and screams bloody murder. Our pediatric dentist is great with the kids and slowly introduces them to the process (DD1 has more done than DD2 and she basically just opens DD3's mouth and takes a quick look around). She strongly recommends appts every 6 months because she says young kids frequently have accidents involving their mouths, and if they're already used to dentists and what happens, then they're much less scared if they have to go to one for a painful injury.

almost 14? The same 12 she's had plus her top 2 canines are barely poking through.

DD is hit and miss with wanting her teeth brushed. But she lets me. Then I let her. Usually by then she is DONE. She goes to the dentist every 6 mo now with DS. They just look in her mouth basically and she watches DS. So it will be good for her in the long run. DS has been going since 1 and he LOVES our pediatric dentist. He is an older man, grandpa like, and just so amazing with the kids.

She has 16, and loves getting them brushed. She's been to 2 dentists and we're waiting for a referral for a third. The one that the rest of us go to sent us to a pediatric dentist because of her lip tie, to see when/if it needs to be cut. The ped said it will need to be, but as for when, that's up to the oral surgeon who will actually do the procedure. So now we're waiting to see her for the consultation. On the bright side, the ped didn't charge us for the visit because there was nothing he could do, and he figured the surgeon would charge for the consultation.

Everything but the 2yr molars. Although she has recently been jamming stuff in her mouth so it makes me wonder it those might be brewing. It's very toothy in there. First dentist visit is with me this fall. She likes chewin on her tooth brush but the actual brushing part has yet to really appeal.

Dd3 has 11 teeth. No plans to see the dentist anytime soon. Ours doesn't recommend before three (old school I know) unless there is an issue. We brush daily and she seems fine so I'll probably wait another year or so.

W has 4.5 teeth but is cutting 3 at the same time. Her teeth have been so slow to come in. I'm going to miss that gummy smile 😢

The canines are about halfway down, so we have everything but the 2 year molars! He likes to brush, we do it together and I just got him a step stool so he can stand at the sink.

No canines or molars yet, but mine are all late teethers, so no worries.
Our pediatric dentists recommend they come every 6 months starting with the first tooth so they get used to going to the dentist (and so it's not as scary if they hurt themselves and need to go to a dentist while in pain). So she's already been twice. She screams.
