How old is LO? 2.5 months
How's everything going? Really good. We are in a good rhythm with things. She spits up on occasion, but it's decreased over time.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? I love the smiles midfeed
1-3mo: Nursing in public: questions, experiences, anecdotes? This is going well. I hate using the cover plus it's 100 degrees here so I've NIP without a cover a few times recently. My gym was even totally cool with me nursing her in the childcare area in front of everyone.
If you're pumping, how is that going? When are you returning to work, or are you SAH? Eh. I SAH, but pump for my runs. She's refusing the bottle so I'm freezing most of it.
GTKY: sweet or salty? Both! It just depends on my mood. I want something sweet right now though.

How old is LO? 9 weeks (will be 10 on Thursday.)
How's everything going? Pretty good. Getting a little better each day.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? Loving the mid nursing smiles. Or even when she just looks up at me in general. She still falls asleep at the breast all the time, so I don't get the smiles or her watching me often. No matter what I try she falls asleep almost every time. Diaper in between, naked, playing with her ears, rubbing her cheeks. Anything else I can try!? Will she just eventually start staying awake as she gets older? I also wish she was a more efficient nurser.

What's one reason why you want to BF?
1-3mo: Nursing in public: questions, experiences, anecdotes? I've done it a few times. It would be easier if she didn't get herself so worked up that she has a hard time latching. And it would be easier if she would latch w/o the shield. I'm working on weaning from that.
If you're pumping, how is that going? When are you returning to work, or are you SAH? It's going. I'm not pumping as often as I was but really need to try and get back on that. I'd really like 2oz of every bottle feeding to be breast milk. (Unless we are out and about. I don't want to deal with ice packs and coolers.) I'd also like to be able to start freezing some. Even if it's only 2oz a day.
GTKY: sweet or salty? Both. Depends on my mood. I could go for some movie theater popcorn with extra butter and lots of salt.

Weighed Paige before she nursed and again after she nursed and there was a 2.5oz difference! The scale I use isn't as sensitive as the one at the lactation office, but I'll take that 2.5oz difference. And just in a clean diaper she weighed 10 pounds even. (Doc office would then take 2oz off for her diaper. So 9lb 14oz) which means she's up 10oz since the 8th. She's finally getting the hang of nursing!! The first time I visited the LCs office she only transferred .4oz!! (She was around 1 month old)

yourpaceormine, great job!! just an FYI, weight is not the same as fluid ounces. If you had a measuring cup with 4oz of orange juice and one with 4oz of peanut butter they aren't going to weigh the same, nor are they going to weigh 4oz on a scale. Regardless you're doing awesome!

Hi!! I'm going to jump in here now. I was active on this board while BFing my son a few years ago and it was such a valuable resource for me :-)
How old is LO? 6 days
How's everything going? Excellent! DD is a great latcher/eater.
Questions/concerns/cute stories to share? I forgot all of the cute noises newborns make while nursing. It cracks me up :-D
0-1mo: Is this your first experience BF? Nope - I BFed my son until he was 14 months.
What's one reason why you want to BF? To save money by not having to buy formula, lol.
GTKY: sweet or salty? Sweet 95% of the time

AmyG, I get what you're saying. But I can't go off of diaper count because I have to bottle feed after each nursing session. I'm hoping I can start to eliminate the ounces in each bottle and exclusively nurse.
