I read it years ago, so I don't remember much other than hating it.

@blanche I read this one a month ago. I agree, Meredith was a little extra. She had waay too much hatred for Josie. Avoid The One and Only by her though. I didn't finish it, it annoyed me so much. I could see where the plot was going from a mile away.
I just finished Falling by Jane Green which was really good.

I read her first two or three books, but none since then have really appealed to me for some reason.

I own this book, so I assume that I've read it at some point but I don't remember much about it.

I've read this too and I remember liking it at the end but all the characters were not likable

I had to go back to Goodreads to remember this one. I think Giffin is a really good writer, but in all of her books, I usually hate all of the characters. I also think the end of this was abrupt and she might try to do a sequel.

I read it years ago, so I don't remember much other than hating it. First Comes Love just came out last summer. Yeah but if you've read he other books you probably don't even have to read this one. Other than the first two- borrower and blue, her books have just been lifeless and boring with unlikable characters. I loved how she made us like Darcy in blue, but apparently lighting doesn't strike twice.

Emily Griffin is such a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't know why I like (most of) her books...the characters are all so one dimensional.
The book felt so dragged out, I thought for sure she was setting it up so that there would be a sequel (especially because of the title). But then she abruptly wrapped everything up at the very end, so I doubt there will be...which is probably for the best!

I haven't read this one, but I feel the need to say I really hated her book "love the one you're with." I've enjoyed a couple others though.

Also deeply hated the one about the basketball coach? Is that The One and only?
I loved baby proof, love the one you're with, and heart of the matter. Loved!

Everyone in that stupid book sucked.

The one and only was THE WORST I've liked the others enough I'm with both of you. That book literally was the worst!!!! I really enjoyed Where We Belong. First Comes Love was pretty "meh". I probably would have liked it more if Meredith wasn't so bloody annoying.

The one and only was THE WORST I've liked the others enough Is this the May/December one? I don't recall, just that I stopped reading as soon as I figured out where it was heading. It was the first of her novels that I had read as well, so I haven't tried anything else of hers. Should I give her another try? Yes

I loved her first two and the next ones were just not enjoyable. Not going to bother with this one unless it gets some stellar reviews and someone lends me a copy.

I read this last summer I think, but I can't recall much that happened. If that tells you anything...
