I got an email yesterday evening that soccer practice starts this Thursday
This is the first year he's going to be on an actual team vs instructional. I'm kind of annoyed at the short notice. It's a good thing I gave them my email I guess. I'm wondering if there was no email address listed, how would we know when practice was? Their site is never updated, they are the worst at social media or anything like that so it's like no communication until the last minute.

DS needs new shin guards so between now & Thursday we have to go over to Dick's. I don't like the ones from Walmart anymore. They are way too tight & just don't give anymore especially with how squirmy DS is. I want to get him a new style.

Hi mamas. We had fun with our only this weekend on a family road trip. We visited my BIL and SIL and their 3mo baby girl and almost-4yo boy. DS and nephew played together well most of the time but I think DS got tired of not having time to do his own thing. By the end of our second day there he decided nephew was "bossy". Haha.

DD was doing much better this morning. I hate seeing her so sick like that. She really has a rough time with stomach bugs. Hopefully her day went well at the IL's.

H's uncle is in town from Minnesota, so we're having him and his family, my MIL (who is at our house Tuesdays anyway watching DS, and she'll have our niece since it's summer vacation right now), then H's step dad will bring over his grandma, my SIL may be coming, and oh yeah, H's aunt is coming with her family. Loose count? 15 people total. Thank goodness H talked me out of pre-making a lasagna or something and we're just ordering pizza for everyone. And that it's a nice day so we can split between our kitchen table and our deck for seating. So tonight will be loud, but DS should have fun playing with his cousins at least

This guy at DS' second camp of the day keeps saying how well behaved DS is.

Anyways, apparently some girl knocked him down right before the end of the day. Can kids leave my damn kid alone? The story is she wanted him to move to be next to her friend so I guess the way to do that is to knock a little kid down? (she is an older kid)
Real nice. He said he was crying & there was other kids that came to him to help & ask if he was okay so at least it's nice to know there are nice kids in the world. Ugh

I'm exhausted! We went to our minor league baseball game last night and it didn't end until 11! So much fun though. We went with a group of 14 of us. We're within walking distance so everyone met at our house and walked over.

I worked in my classroom for a little and then I took DS up to an outdoor pool facility with climbing walls and big slides. He's in heaven!

Seems like the mean kids gravitate towards your DS.  Poor kid.  I am glad other kids were nice enough to try to help him.

She was good.  Unfortunately now she seems to have a bit of a head cold.  Her nose started running like a faucet while she was there and she was pretty congested at bedtime.
