Lately I'm on a conspiracy theories/historical/true crime kick. I fall down the rabbit hole that is Wikipedia far too often. I've watched some JFK docs and been rewatching that show American Justice on YouTube. I just found American Ripper, and since I'm fascinated by Jack the Ripper and HH Holmes, it seems like a good watch for me.
What else is there that I'm missing? What are some of your favorite tin foil hat shows or docs? Or we can just discuss our favorite theories. I know there was quite the JFK one back on TCF.

Mh keeps trying to convince me that the real Paul McCartney died in 1966 and who we know as Paul isn't. Got lost in Wikipedia and Reddit and all sorts of websites with this one!!

The biggest Titanic conspiracy is that it wasn't actually the Titanic but the RMS Olympic that had had multiple incidents and was costing the company a lot of money. You know. Classic insurance fraud conspiracy.

My cousin's husband is convinced the moon landing was faked. One Christmas he and my dad got into a spectacular argument about it. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

This is not so much a conspiracy theory as an eye-opening documentary, but I highly recommend Get Me Roger Stone on Netflix. It tells a lot about how the lobbyists came to power in politics and how elections are influenced. Oh now that sounds fascinating! I'll add it to my list

I looooove a good conspiracy theory.
But if someone comes in here and says that they believe in the Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, I will burn. it. down.
That is one that I absolutely refuse to entertain.

I haven't seen it, but my mom highly recommended The Keepers on Netflix. Nun starts to uncover sexual abuse by a priest in her parish, goes missing and is found murdered.

Oh, and of course, I totally love looking into the one about Beyonce' faking her pregnancy with Blue Ivy.
Where does something cross the line from celebrity rumors to conspiracy theory?

I used to love the Jesse Ventura Conspiracy Theory show. I wonder if you could find old episodes of that online somewhere. Not saying I believe or disbelieve any, just that I find it interesting to watch. Some of which I remember from the show were...
Lyme disease. The government was experimenting with biological warfare creating these diseased ticks on an island off the coast of NY & CT to use against Commies. But then seagulls who landed on the island, then flew to Lyme, CT and transmitted the disease to the people who lived there.
The government has a secret bomb shelter under the Denver airport.
Something about the government owning cell tower-like structures that are sending out signals which brainwash and debilitate people.
JFK assassination, claims to speak with an FBI agent on his deathbed who admits that it was a government setup and he was part of it.

When the subject denies the rumor and people accuse them of lying/covering up and look for clues in ridiculous places to prove themselves "right".
