Ohhh I haven't been able to participate bc of some family stuff that happened. But I'm reading hillbilly elegy now so I vote for that!
I'll also have to see if I can get a copy of what Alice forgot to join in for this month.

I couldn't get Dark Matter fast enough to play along but hopefully I'll be able to jump in some time. These books all sound interesting.

I'm good with all these mentioned. Maybe we have to dig a little older so that books are more available. I'm having a hard time getting through the hold queue at the library for a some of the ones we've mentioned.

I don't have suggestions for September, but I work in a library and can do some digging on wait lists and "book club" books for October suggestions.
This is also why I refuse to buy books. I'm kind of an antithetical librarian that I don't have a library at home.

It's a website that is basically for the local bookstore community to share info. I get lost looking at past month's on there: www.indiebound.org/indie-next-listI would add Alice Network by Kate Quinn for the voting because I just read it and looooved it. Otherwise I'm good with runner-up ideas. Risscaboobs Sorry about you having a sick kid. The snuggles are sweet but it's hard to see them feel yucky.

When do you guys start to discuss this months book? I just found this thread and I am pretty sure I need in! I used to be a huge reader. Then I had my kids and have been slowly getting back into reading regularly.
