It appears all Meta products have gone down. On Super Tuesday. Not a fan. I know this is by no means the point of this post, but A+ usage of that Weird Al gif.

Is the FB outage more of a large scale attack? Teams is working fine for me. And Twitter obvs.

FB was down for me, but also a bunch of other sites weren’t loading, so I figured it was just my wifi being slow. I had a zoom meeting that went through just fine, though.

It’s primary day in CA. I’m mostly looking forward to a short reprieve of the Senate ads. I hope Katie Porter and her kids never watch TV because damn the attacks ads against her were harsh. Who are you planning to vote for, if it's ok to ask? I know it's a hot race, but haven't kept up with who is favored, aside from Not Katie. I’m voting for Barbara Lee. I know she is unlikely to win even the primary so it’s more of a symbolic vote to thank her for her service. She’s my favorite congress person and I agree with her most on policy positions. I will be fine with any of the three top candidates. I’ll be a little bummed to not have a woman if Schiff gets it but at least I know he’s good.

I never tried to access my Gmail itself, but accounts I have tied to my Gmail I couldn't log into. I need kahoot and gimkit for my sub this morning and Google wouldn't push through my two factor authentication. I tried so many times I got my temporarily locked out.

This article is so poorly written I'm having trouble following. Are they saying that next month all of the target circle deals and coupons will only be available to paid subscribers? WUT

WUT This announcement from Target is more easily understood, to me: corporate.target.com/news-features/article/2024/03/target-circle-loyalty-programIt appears that everyone will get the automatic Circle discounts w/ the app for free. Then those with redcards, either debit or credit, will get basically everything except free same day delivery, and then Target 360 will include the free same day delivery for a yearly fee.

:extremely monotone voice: No. Wait. Come back. 'Sen. Kyrsten Sinema announced she will not run for reelection this year, setting up a race between Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake to succeed her. The first-term senator, who left the Democratic Party to become an independent, said she believes in her approach to politics, "but it's not what America wants right now." www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/03/05/congress/sinema-not-running-00144995

It makes it sound like you get 5% off with the card if you're signed up for this new Circle thing, but I already get that with my Redcard and I hope they don't take it away for non-paying Circle members

WUT It sounds like they are just nixxing Shipt and offering their own in-house same day service. But yeah, that article is a mess.

And here I was about to say that it sounds like they're trying to make Shipt actually happen after several years of no success by incorporating into a (paid) tier for card/circle members. 😆 So yeah, clear as mud.

I have used Shipt to get Target delivered for myself or a client on vacation and it worked well but the membership fee is a tough sell if you aren't frequently ordeemring delivery. My sister lives 30 minutes from literally everything so she gets gricery deluvery every single week. I, OTOH, can get to Target in under 10 minutes so I almost never use delivery.

Circle 360 is essentially paying $49 per year to get free same day delivery from Shipt, and get free delivery from other stores that Shipt uses as well. Which, I never use Shipt with Target because my store is less than 5 min from my home so I do same day pickup every time.

And for me I'm contemplating it because my nearest Target is 20 minutes away and feels inconvenient (compared to where I lived before). Although I'm not sure I want to make buying from Target easier...

Navalney’s widow has been invited to the Biden’s’ guest at the SOU. This seems major!!
ETA First Lady of Ukraine was also invited, but she has declined (sounds like there is a complicated history with her and Navalney- possibly comments about Ukraine)

What in the what. No? Surely they are just giving her the coverage she truly deserves as VP to strengthen the ticket?

I've seen a few people say they're convinced Biden will either drop out in a few months and she'll take over it he'll wait until he wins or is sworn in and then resign. I don't see it but I wouldn't hate it
