Come on in to talk about using alcohol mindfully, less, or not at all. ☘️

How was February for y'all? Any goals for March?

I've been dry since beginning of January. I may be having week where I have drinks this month. I'm going out with coworkers and then MH and I have a nice meal out planned where we spend up to $200 and his company reimburses the cost. I'm going to try to keep those two events to the same week.

Still hanging here. I think I had 2 or 3 drinks in Feb. We have a dinner out with friends and a concert in March, so I will probably stick around the same.

I had a good month. Only one evening of drinking. A few nice glasses of wine with some girlfriends. It was celebratory and lovely. The only way I like using alcohol these days.

I leave for Nashville in a little over a week. I thought about how I want to show up. I plan to drink, but only 1-3 drinks a day....all spread out so I don't get tipsy or have any after effects the next day. I'm glad I have created a plan for myself. I wanna have a good time with friends but even a little bit of alcohol affects me now.

I've tried all 4 of the White Claw alcohol free seltzers now and they're definitely worth the buy if you like hard seltzers. All four flavors are tasty and they definitely aren't the same as sweetened or unsweetened sparkling water in terms of taste. Like a mixture of those two things. But I'm definitely buying some more for our beach trip.

Had a scare with a mammogram last month. Had to get a biopsy done. The team I worked with was quick and professional. All clear on the results after three samples were taken. Also felt better when they said they couldn’t feel the mass without the ultrasound to guide them.
2 years ago I would have been drinking every night to deal with the stress. Today I worked through it and didn’t use it as an excuse to have a drink.
I don’t have a good relationship with alcohol, and I don’t want to be that person anymore.
