The food aversions are setting in and I need help. My aversions come in the form of "whatever seemed good yesterday, sounds disgusting today". And I tend to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day so this makes it extra hard.
Any lunch/breakfast things working well for you?

The only things that work consistently for me are peaches and nectarines. It was the same last time around. Anything with oil or sugar does me in.

My aversions come in the form of "whatever seemed good yesterday, sounds disgusting today. Yep this is me. I'm in the grocery store and figure this and this sound good. Next day? Nope. Ritz pb sandwich crackers have been ok for snacks, but I can't stand the thought of the cheese ones that I bought. Yogurt and fruit cups are my go to for breakfast and a lot of snacks. Otherwise it's completely random and illogical. But I'm lucky? in that what I usually want is something "fresh". Fruit, veggies, stuff out of the fridge as opposed to mashed potatoes or casseroles.

Oh also my BFFs discussing food or the instant pot thread make me want to hurl. Bleeehch.

Oh I'm the opposite, I basically eat like I'm drunk and/or high all pregnancy. Hahaha. The thought of junky food always seems really appealing...but then when I actually have it in front if me I can't do it. Last time raw veggies, fruit, eggs, milk, cheddar cheese and hot water with ginger in it is what I lived off of the entire pregnancy. I'm eating whatever I can now because I know, if it's anything like last time, in about a week I'll barely be able to stomach anything. I gave so much food away last time because just knowing something was in the house would make me throw up. My sister did all her grocery shopping at my house that year...:/

I don't really have aversions yet. Last time I start throwing up at 7 weeks on the dot and it didn't stop until 22 weeks.

Give me all the carbs right now. Pasta, pizza, fries. Yum.
Meat is hit or miss though.

I started getting nauseous at 6 weeks last time but didn't start throwing up until 11 weeks. Of course then I was throwing up until I actually delivered. No one told me I'd be throwing up all through labour. I am not looking forward to that again but I'm secretly hoping this time will be different...

So I woke up this AM feeling so sick to my stomach and all that sounded tolerable was a pack of Oreos I knew we had in the basement.
Well, guess who's husband devoured them in secret? It's the same husband who is currently going to the grocery store to get me muffins.

sammysam, I also experienced throwing up throughout my entire pregnancy last time around, glad to know I'm not alone, but sorry you went through that. It was horrible. The weirdest part about it is I get the most sick when I'm sleeping at night. I think it's because I do a lot of tossing and turning it's almost as though my tummy gets "sea sick", it's the weirdest because I've never heard anyone talk about it, but it happened last pregnancy and it's the same with this.

mirabelle I honestly can't remember if I felt sicker at night I just remember it being a constant struggle not to throw up ALL THE TIME. I'm also glad I'm not the only one. We can commiserate through this pregnancy.
