So, we are building a new guest bathroom and renovating our primary bathroom. I finally decided on the tile for the guest bathroom (and if you have any suggestions for floor tile I'll take them).
The back wall of the shower is going to have this tile 3/4 of the way up with these large subway tiles on the wing walls and up to the ceiling and these small white subway tiles on the shower floor . This vanity this light fixture and this faucet
I know the orange is a bold choice, but it's my daughter's favorite color because it was my H's favorite color and I wanted to bring a little bit of him into her bathroom.
Which brings me to the primary bathroom. Other than the light fixture above being the same for both rooms and using this faucet, , I am totally lost. I want to stick to fairly neutral so that I don't hate it in 5 or 10 years, but also don't want it to be too boring. I prefer sticking with cooler tones like moody grays and brighter whites, over warm, earthier tones. I have been toying with purple, but in this family
I LOVE this tile but feel like it would be too dark in a whole shower and the room won't have any natural light so I don't want it to be too cave-y. I have been looking at large format tile for the walls because I hate grout lines, but most of the matte versions I like are too warm and I feel like polished feels too 80's. No marble because this bitch is lazy and the upkeep is just something I will never do and I'm also on a budget.
I hate this. I hate making these types of decisions. I'm so sick of thinking about tile and colors and cannot wait to be done. Please help me. I feel like I just need a good jumping off point with at least a color scheme to work with.
