Does anyone use the Skylight calendar?
H and I both have kind of unpredictable schedules and the kids have school stuff. I thought this might be a good way to keep us, the kids, and childcare all on the same page, but I want to be told it’s worth it before I drop $300.

YES. We have it and love it. We also bought it when it was like $120 a couple years ago. It really helps keep our schedule together.
The only negative I have is when I forget to change the name of an appt the kids see something like "obgyn" up on the wall and ask a lot of questions. You can either sync it straight to your Google calendar or choose to email certain/specific events straight to it.

We have it and love it! I keep the calendar display up most of the time, but like that I can do photos when we’re having company or whatever.
It’s forced me to add everything to our google calendars and our oldest (8) likes that he can see what’s going on.

Is it just a copy of your google calendar on a frame hung in the kitchen? Like obviously it updates as the online calendar updates but that’s what it is?
Just an easier way for everyone to see the schedule vs constantly checking our phones?

Son was going to turn a wireless monitor into something similar for his house, with a wireless monitor hung on the wall but in the interim he has his tablet up most all the time on a stand on counter to show the family auto updated google calendar, and since it's a touchscreen they can add change the calendar right there.

Yes, but you don't have to just copy your Google calendar. There's an option to send calendar items to it. For example? My husband's work meetings don't get loaded, but volunteer commitments, sports schedules, etc, can now be on a shared calendar. And then we don't need to have a separate wall calendar. I used to have a dry erase one but I'd always forget to change it when a practice time changed, for example. Now, we update it once on our phone and everyone's updates.

We use a Dakboard on a monitor in the kitchen. And we run it with a raspberry pi.
We’ve used it for 3 years and love it.

We have the Skylight calendar and love it. It hangs in our living room and when not in calendar mode is a digital picture frame.
Our older child has a crazy practice schedule and it’s been amazing to keep track of all of the constantly changing events.
H works from home and take our kids to school everyday but they need to be fairly independent getting dressed and ready in the morning. We use the chore chart to create a morning to do list that they can follow and it has revolutionized their morning . We use emojis for my child in kindergarten and he is almost 100% independent completing his 5 morning tasks
