The London Clinic doesn't appear to treat psychiatric conditions and I think it's gross to speculate on someone's mental health.
I also think it's gross to speculate about physical health and include myself in that statement. I'm going to be the change and all that.

I honestly can't imagine her needing a mommy makeover. Her waist always appears so tiny. But obviously I'm not one of the most photographed women in the world so I can't really relate to that pressure. Bodies can be different under clothes though.

If Kate doesn’t come out of this with a BBL I’m going to be mad.
This reminds me of an Instagram contact of mine who had posted about her tummy tuck a while ago. She was really thin and would assume she didn’t need it but underneath her clothes she had a ton of loose skin from her 5 kids. Yes, 5 kids. I think she had her ab muscles repaired but I’m not sure it was same surgery.

Tiktok just told me that there are leaks saying it was a planned hysterectomy.

Having poor skin elasticity, being thin, and having 10 pound babies can lead to issues that no amount of working out can fix. It was really affecting my mental health so I'm glad I was lucky enough to be in a position to change it. I still consider it one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

Yes it doesn’t matter how much weight I lose, I will forever have loose, wrinkled skin. The third pregnancy wrecked me. I need to talk to you adelbert because I’m in all the groups and doing all the research and the recovery is the most terrifying part. I’m more scared of that than the getting cut open part.

Cher the worst part was the drains. Once those were removed recovery improved.

I need to talk to you adelbert because I’m in all the groups and doing all the research and the recovery is the most terrifying part. I’m more scared of that than the getting cut open part. I worked out hard and got down to the weight I was on my wedding day (110 pounds) in 2018, which was 9 years after my last baby. I had super saggy skin. And then I went into early menopause the same year and gain a TON of weight back. I decided to hit the gym hard again in 2022 and lost significant weight again, only to be diagnosed with breast cancer the same year. Went through chemo and was on a lot of steroids to battle the side effects so gained more weight back. I wasn’t able to get back to the gym until this past October (2023). So I’ve had babies with 3 significant lose/gain cycles resulting in very saggy skin. In November I added in ultrasonic cavitation with RF skin tightening to my thighs and belly. The results have been astonishing. Do not ask me to post picture, I won’t, you’ll just have to take my word for it. I’m losing weight and my skin is tightening at the same rate. I’ve never had thigh gap in my life but I’m close to having it now and the skin on my belly is fairly tight. Going for weekly treatments was a significant commitment of time and money so in Dec I bought my own professional grade RF unit for about $1200. I already saved that much money on what I would have spent going to a spa for treatments. The unit I bought also has a EM facial wand and I’ve seen some improvement to my marionette lines. If you’re looking for skin tightening, I would definitely recommend RF treatments at a spa to see if they work for you. I had reconstruction after my double mastectomy so I now have the boobs of a 22 year old and a nearly flat/tight stomach. We’re going diving in Costa Rica in March and at 53 years old, I’m going to wear a bikini for the first time in years.

Online stuff almost scared me off the reduction and I’m so glad I didn’t listen. Bc sure, parts sucked, but it’s over in relatively short time and now I’ve had years of loving my physical form as much as my ethereal self. It’s totally worth it.

The drains definitely were the worst part and that lasts for the first 14 days or so. They will have you do something called “milking” the drains where you pull down on the drainage tubes to pull the clots out. I can’t remember the schedule but I think they said to do this every 4-6 hours. I thought I would be a super diligent patient and milk more frequently. DO NOT do this. It creates a suction inside the tubes which actually makes it more painful. There is no added benefit to milking more frequently than they tell you so stick to the advised schedule. PS—sorry everyone, for hijacking this thread to talk about my boobs. But to bring it back on topic, I will say they are royally spectacular.

To add to the boob/drains talk: I didn’t find the drains themselves painful, more the insertion point. For me anyways, it was like 1 suture holding the drains in place. It was the weirdest feeling when they took them out - I could feel it coming out but it didn’t hurt. Mind you this is post mastectomy so there wasn’t much/any tissue left. I HATED the drains. HATED. partly because they were awkward and I was scared of my kids accidentally yanking on them. Partly bc it was a constant visual reminder of what I had to have done. The worst. And I got a second round on one side after a complication. Ugh. Anyways. sterling don’t quote me on this, but I think you only get drains when tissue is removed. Like straight implants - no drains. Not sure what’s involved in a lift.

I'm not surprised with her being a fair skinned redhead and the time she spent skiing and sunbathing when she was younger. I certainly hope it was caught early and that she recovers fully. This is also lighting a fire under my ass to schedule my overdue annual derm appointment.

I wonder if she’s been tested for BRCA - increased risk of melanoma as well as breast and ovarian cancer. Or maybe she’s a fair skinned red head who used to love the sun 🤷♀️

I dream of having a reduction/lift but the doctor who specializes in/pioneered the technique I want is back in CA and I don't know if I can swing the logistics now that I'm on the other coast. I should've gotten it done at 30 like I wanted, ugh.

Somehow I didn't know that lift but no implants was a thing. I really want to fix my boobs a bit, but don't want implants so this gives me something new to look into. And I want to take care of the loose stomach skin that never went back after the boys so the turn this thread took was helpful.
