Charlotte and Samantha were my girl names, due to SATC and the American Girl Doll, probably.

Abigail or Samuel. I only had girls so only one of them got used. To bad most of America that year agreed so her name is super popular.
I was sad we didn't have a boy so I named our cat Sam. He died about a year after we got him so the name is ruined for forever 😢

I liked Michaela and Makenzie. Neither of which are bad, but we went another direction with DD. I know someone with two daughters named these. I think it's a bit heavy on the Mac sound as a sibset but anyway. It was my ideal twin names. Now that I have kids, I'm now certain I would have mix up the names 100% of the times.

Hailey or Evangeline for a girl. Jordan or Colin for a boy. I'm still trying to convince H to let us add Evangeline and Collin to our next potential baby name list. He isn't going for it. Boo.

I only had boy names but they were Mason and Brodie. Then I met a Mason in college and I was over it lol.
When I was in elementary school I wanted twin girls named Jennifer Nicole and Nicole Jennifer and I also liked to get really creative with the spellings. I'm glad I got past that. 😂

Based on these names a lot of you ladies were a way more mature than I *thought* I was at 16! I will say that I have an unusual name that I have never loved. Like I don't even feel associated with my own name and get called many various versions of it by people in my life. MH has maybe said my name like a handful of times. I think that's what drew me to the more traditional names.

Keyleigh Elizabeth was my egg baby's name. I still kinda like it, there are so many girls with similar names though. Plus we had boys and are done, so it is moot.

I wanted a girl named Ainsley. Almost 20 years later, I am very glad it didn't happen!

I think my top girls names at 16 were Kaydence and Victoria. I actually still love Victoria but dh is very opposed to it.
I'm not sure I ever thought much of boys names but I'm pretty sure Jackson was on a list for minute, and I'm also vaguely remembering Kenneth. Yikes 😞. I'm glad I moved past that one!

I worked at a daycare for minute in high school and there was a girl named Alyx and I thought that was so cute.
I also really like Molly (I think because of American Girl).

Based on these names a lot of you ladies were a way more mature than I *thought* I was at 16! Does it help that I picked Evangeline because I fell in love with the name after watching Nanny McPhee? Also my twin girl names were cringeworthy: Melody and Harmony, if there was a triplet situation, the 3rd would have been Lyric. Yeah... super glad 16 year old me wasn't having triplets.

I loved Tristan from Legend of the Falls. I still have a soft spot for it, but probably wouldn't use it I once suggested Tristan and DH told me that our son would never be good looking enough to carry off the name.

I don't remember exactly how old I was, but I remember being obsessed with three names- Olivia, Andrea, and my DS's name. Obviously I used the boy name, and it was down to Olivia and one other name for my DD. So I guess I haven't changed my tastes much in the past 15 years!

At 16, Abigail or Spencer. Abigail got way too popular, but we did discuss Spencer if DD had been a boy.
When I was slightly younger than 16 I wanted twin girls named Jordan Taylor and Taylor Jordan 🙄 I also wanted Zac Hanson to be the dad so....

My flour bag baby was Peter.
I still like the name, but I wouldn't consider naming a baby that.
If my flour bag baby was a girl, I think her name would have been Anastasia. I would use this one in a heartbeat but my husband said "Why wouldn't anyone do that to a child?"
WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO MEAN, HUSBAND?

When I was much younger my favorite name ever was Anastasia. Glad I didn't go with that one. OH. Haha - why? BC It's NMS, mostly. Also because I married a Mexican who's entire family only speaks Spanish and they'd butcher it, lol. It's a legit name. Just not for me

It seems like Abigail was a popular choice for us as 16 year olds! My twin names that I loved for a while were Abigail Marie and Adam Matthew.
I didn't really like any other boy names but I loved the name Gemma for a girl because of a character from a book I liked.

I believe I liked Kaylee or something to that effect.
When I was younger I liked Erin because that was my cool older neighbors name.
