How did that happen? Lol. I was in a rush to put groceries away and wash my bags, as my IL's were coming over, and I jammed my kitchen laundry into washable grocery bags to take them to the laundry room. The olives are so light I didn't realize they'd been left in the bottom of a bag. I wash my kitchen cloths/towels twice a week after I grocery shop so my grocery and produce bags get washed between each use. Did they do any damage?

Oh that makes sense. I was picturing olives sitting on a shelf above the washer and a cat knocking them in or something 😂 I was picturing one of those small cans in a hoodie pocket. 🤣 Same 😂

DD’s first dose of strattera is down the hatch at dinner time. She asked to go to bed right at 8, which is unheard of for her… I don’t think it’s supposed to make her drowsy?
Also 504 meeting tomorrow. I know she had a math test today and a science test tomorrow. Poor kiddo.

So far it hasn’t, but it is a potential side effect. Fingers crossed for your dd!

He said he directs parents to watch for lack of sleep and lack of an appetite to the point of kids losing weight. Those are the only two things he said to watch out for, and then of course gauge if she is having more success at focusing.

Our front-loader washer started getting this weird error code about a clogged drain, but it would only happen sporadically and we didn’t see anything in the drain when we’d look. If you restarted it it would run through and drain just fine. So we thought it was a sensor going bad. Like three months after this started happening, it wouldn’t restart one day. My husband took the whole draining mechanism apart in a sort of last ditch effort to figure out how to fix it because it was six months or so after the start of COVID and washers (and parts) were hella expensive then. Guess what he found? The entire screen area was full of colorful pieces of broken plastic. Eventually we figured out it was three or four broken mechanical pencils my oldest had been leaving in his hoodie pockets!! Hmmm is it a Samsung? We get this error code randomly and it started after we had to move the washer to get the flooring underneath refinished.

But you should check the screen on yours!

Lack of appetite and sleep sounds more like the stimulants?

byjove, boo. I’m sorry you’re stuck in the boot. 😔 Is it still giving you a lot of pain?

dc2london Minerva other NOVA friends... what are you thinking about school Thursday? I think my city could probably get by with just a delay, but I don't know if the county closes because they'll stay below 32F for longer... and if the county closes, we'll close... I am operating under the potential for a closure. I don't think we will get ice, but it sure looks like other parts of the county will. I'd rather prepare for a closure that doesn't materialize than vice-versa. I've just read CWG's updated forecast and now I think we will close. I figured Dela or nothing, but it looks like things could be icy until the afternoon out west.

Knock wood, I did a couple of loads this morning and everything seemed fine.

byjove , you have entirely too much life going on. How are you hanging in there? I'm definitely wallowing in despair a bit today, NGL. And the 504 meeting didn't happen because they told us the wrong day after we showed up for it. It's now supposed to be tomorrow, but waves arm at weather, so it might not be until January now. Grrr. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Why is Capital Weather Gang's checkmark on Twitter yellow?
ETA: ah, I see it's part of the new verification whatever.

Well, backed the van out of the garage to pick up the school kids and van started purring like a cat, then the check engine light began flashing. My luck, they can’t look at it until late tomorrow AND they just took their only van loaner out of rotation. So if they can’t fix it tomorrow, I have no idea how I’m getting the kids to school in this loaner. Thankfully, H is off tomorrow. I really hope this is covered under the warranty, because, well, money.
We even had plans to go looking at lights tonight, but will wait now so we all be in one car.

And I VERY much was not dressed to be outside of the car, so I was a hot mess and stressed out. It was a bit panicky driving with the purring and the sensation was spiking my anxiety.
