What do you make your smoothies in? Bonus points for not the $300-$500 one.
I don’t need to blend hot soup. I don’t need to make peanut butter. I don’t need to powder granulated sugar. I just need to make some smoothies with frozen fruit.

We’ve had our Ninja blender for at least 8 years and it’s still going strong. No complaints. I also like that the base suctions to the countertop so it doesn’t move around.

Did you ask this a few months ago? Or was it someone else.
Also ninja here.

A ninja! I don't think it was $300 or anywhere near that. Maybe $100? Looks like there are many ninja models to choose from now.

If go for a Ninja. We had one for years and it finally died, so we bought a Vitamix, thinking it would be better, but I miss the Ninja. It was much better at blending smoothies. The Vitamix always leaves chunks of frozen fruit and it drives me crazy

I just got the Ninja below. We make a lot of protein shakes. The nice thing about the one below is it has a smoothie and ice button. It goes through an auto cycle for you. Plus it suctions to the counter and doesn’t move. Much better than my Nutribullet. I have not tried greens in it. Full disclosure this was my 15 year gift from work. So I got it for free.

And I swear I found it for 160/170 on Amazon. But BBB has it for 200. Still a lot less then a Vitamix.

Also, I would just compare the motor on the lower ones to make sure you are still getting decent power when you blend.

I have a nutribullet and I only use it for smoothies. It is cheap and perfectly adequate for that job. But it is insanely loud; I wear ear protection when I use it lol.

Nutribullet here too. We used to have a Vitamix which was definitely stronger, but I have an irrational fear of the top coming off and causing a huge mess.

I ordered a ninja, which arrives today. A different ninja is a daily deal on Amazon today, which makes me question my choice. But I think I’ll just stick with it.
Thanks for all the recommendations!
