Hi All! Happy holidays friends. How is everyone?
I’m sorry for dropping off, things have been ho hum here. The kids started with a cold after Halloween and spent November off and on sick. Just survived a stomach bug over the last couple weeks 😑 By some miracle, MH and I have avoided all the sickness. Please oh please let it continue.
M feels like such a big kid now. It’s like the toddler years are over. She is such a snuggle bug with me but still so demanding.
I miss you all and hope you are well. ❤️

Hey all, Happy belated Thanksgiving to those who celebrated!
We survived the first two celebrations of the year; Saint Martin's Day back in mid-November and then yesterday Saint Nicolas/Sinterklaas. The excitement and anticipation takes a toll on our toddlers doesn't it?
We celebrated Sinterklaas together with my sister&her family, and my mum, and it was great fun. The kids were mighty pleased with their gifts! D's main presents were a playmobil stables so all of her horsies have a roof over their heads now ;-) and a wooden car track to complement the roads play mat she loves so much. And an assortment of smaller things, some gifted overnight in her shoe the weeks leading up to Sinterklaas Eve.
I'm ever so glad Sinterklaas is gone though and look forward to the quieter celebration of Yule/Christmas. D and I are also looking forward putting up the tree and decorations and lights! It's been a dark cold autumn so far.
