G will be 1 on the 22nd. I can hardly believe my last baby is technically about to be a toddler. He's getting so big and has so much personality. He absolutely loves music (especially the Wiggles) and dancing, and makes the cutest face every time his favorite songs come on. He's still a huge mama's boy, and doesn't like it if anyone outside of his select few people get too close to him.

Ben will be 1 on Saturday and took his first steps yesterday on Mother’s Day He now has 3 teeth and loves to climb. He dislikes me being in the other room from him, and getting into his diaper and jammies between bath and bottle. He likes to say ‘mama’ but we’re not quite sure whether he knows what it means. Poor guy gets to spend his birthday at two softball games for DD in the morning (against our better judgement, we let her try out for the all star softball team and had no idea what we were getting into!) and a birthday party for one of DS1’s friends in the afternoon. Then we’ll celebrate with my parents around dinner time. DH turned 45 this past Friday and we left Ben for the first time overnight - our babysitter spent the night with our two little ones, while the two older ones spent the night with my parents. Our babysitter has put him to bed before and he’s a good sleeper, so all went well. I turn 40 in two weeks, so next week I’m going away for two nights with my girlfriends. A big birthday month here!

Hello! I can’t believe how close we are to a year 😭 Miles is walking pretty much 99% of the time, and is damn near running. He’s got 4 teeth and a wild personality. He makes the funniest faces and loves to make us laugh. I won’t get into sleep, lol. I also think his hair might stay curly and it’s so stinkin adorable. We’re doing a small get together for his first at our house with family at the end of the month so I’m sure that’ll be fun. Here he is mid one of his many faces with his favorite toy, the remote

The twins will be 13 months this weekend. It’s just crazy how much they change each week. Neither are walking yet but I think it’s in the next couple weeks for H. G doesn’t seem as ready but he does cruise along furniture walking. I’m guessing he’ll be ready closer to 14 months.
They have been in a crazy separation anxiety phase lately though and it’s tough. It’s getting better very slowly. Sleep is fine overnight. Naps are mostly decent but it’s hard if one wakes up early for some reason and cries and the other wakes up about 50% of the time. Very frustrating. I can’t wait until we can transition to the one long nap. I’m waiting for signs of readiness for that, ha.
They really are just the sweetest little bugs and love snuggles and hugs so much more than my oldest did and it makes me so happy. I soak it in, knowing they are my last babies.

E will be 11 months on the 15th! I can’t believe it! She has two teeth and is currently cutting two more. She cruises around furniture and let’s go for a bit but she hasn’t attempted free steps. She says mama, waves and “dances” to music. She is just the sweetest, easiest baby. Definitely a mamas girl though and has a tendency to being a night owl. I’m trying to work on getting her to go to sleep earlier.

Such adorable babies! Re: two naps, at least one day of each weekend, Ben has to miss his morning nap because of my older kids’ activities, and he does fine. As long as I make sure he doesn’t fall asleep in the car

As long as I make sure he doesn’t fall asleep in the car We tried testing moving to one nap a few weeks ago and the lasting all morning was fine, but they didn't want to nap for very long. It's such a PITA to keep them napping when they sleep in the same room, omg. Night time is just fine but I think since naps are lighter sleep in general it is easier for them to wake. We tried moving a PnP to a separate room to keep them from waking each other but whichever twin was separated into the PnP room would never sleep because it was a weird new place. Ugh. I miss solo baby naps, haha.

Hey! It’s happening! V started standing up on her own without holding on to anything on Saturday and has been slowly taking more and more steps at a time. I’m guessing she will be full out walking by this time next week. She is 10.5 months. She still only has her 2 lower center teeth. It feels like she’s been teething for her center upper teeth forever, hopefully they will be in soon. Sleep is still garbage. I have just started planning her first birthday party, which will be at the end of next month. I feel like I was planning my oldest’s first birthday 6 months in advance, funny how things change with subsequent kids. In personal news I got braces 2 weeks ago wed and 4 teeth pulled last Monday so eating is a challenge. I’m starting to get used to it, but chewing is still very weird. The pain honestly hasn’t been that bad. I’ve also started working out, right before I got the braces on, and have kept 5lbs off. Only 45 pounds to go.
