muscari - We have an amazing Chinese restaurant in walking distance, so we go there maybe once every two weeks or so. It's so good! I love the kung pow chicken. And MH isn't nuts about pesto either, but he's out of town Wednesday, so I do what I want LOL

Though tbh I like having dinner together more often again now too At our old address we had a really good Chinese restaurant at walking distance as well and there were times where we went for chinese take out quite regularly. They missed us after we moved haha! We still go to the same restaurant but less often since tis less convenient having to drive and all. Which may be a good thing but still!

Our Chinese joint is BYOB, too, which was ah-maze-ing. MH and I used to walk there all the time with our sixers or bottles and then walk home. Ah, the good ol' days! LOL

I only have to make two dinners this week. We'll be at my sister's Wednesday and Thursday, my brother's Friday, and my parents' Saturday and most of Sunday.
So, tonight it's oven-fried chicken with zucchini fries from my garden, and tomorrow night it's BLTs with tomatoes from my garden. There's nothing better than a fresh home-grown heirloom tomato!

hawkward - Ugh, I love homegrown tomatoes! We haven't grown our own in a few years because all my coworkers have tomato plants and bring in their extras. I've been reaping the benefits for a long time LOL

I planted four different kinds this year.

menrandes - I looooove fried plantains! I could eat my weight in those and patties. Yum! And pizza stuffed sweat potatoes sound good. Are they literally baked sweat potatoes with pizza toppings (sauce, cheese, etc.)?
