It's a new week. What's up?
DH leaves this morning so I anticipate a highly emotional toddler today. We'll either be as busy as humanly possible or cuddling in front of the TV.

danib have you ever heard of a daddy doll? I think of them every time your H leaves and you mention C missing him.

I need to put a bunch more baby stuff away today, but I'm finding it harder to do than the first round I did a couple of months ago. The picture previews the photographer has tagged me keep making me tear up and I just know I'm going to have a nice cry session when I finally get them all back.

Lillian woke me up when the sun came up. Sigh. If it's light out, it's time to be awake apparently. But, she did say the cutest thing. My dad got her a dress at the All Star Game and gave it to her yesterday. She was carrying it when she woke me up. I asked her why and she said, "Grandpa gave it me. Best present ever." So cute!! Today we are supposed to go to one of our area splash pads with two of my mom's former co-workers and their kids (I think 4yr old and also a 1yr old?). We have a chance of rain today, but hopefully it holds off until the afternoon. Otherwise, I need to go get dinner stuff for the week and restock on fruit. Is Lilah officially the smallest baby now? She's around 14lb 4oz and I think like 26" tall. Eta: kleigh I know AV has been a similar size to Lilah.

I think so classymrsa. H is around 26 inches as well, but he's starting to chunk up at 18.5lbs.

Hi all. I've never been so happy to see Monday. After a busy weekend it's nice to have a little break. But I have a lot to do in anticipation for B's party this weekend. I have a ton of cleaning and shopping to do. I also need to squeeze in his 2 year old pictures somewhere in there. I'm still in denial I'm going to have a 2 year old.
In other news, I gave J eggs this morning. No hives! I'm really excited at the thought of a child without any allergies (so far). I'm having way to much fun giving him food because he can eat so much more than B at this age.

That's awesome waitwhat! Lillian was allergic to milk until 15 months so I was nervous about Lilah, especially after she had some mystery red spots after eating eggs. But she's had them 3 times since the red spots and nothing so looks like it's ok!

That's great waitwhat! I'm really struggling with how I will handle H having foods that C can't. C does really well with accepting that he can't have certain things, but I imagine it may he a different story when his little brother is allowed to have them and he isn't.

I'm working from home again. O spiked a 102.5 fever yesterday so off to the ped we go. I am suspecting an ear infection. classymrsa O was one of the smaller babies but he's 18 lbs now I think. I'll get his weight when I take him the doc today. When he dropped to 11% for weight I upped his bottles and solids.

Morning! danib yes, the daddy dolls sophiegrace mentioned are very popular. I also hear great things about the books where you can record someone reading them (or you could do that with any book and a phone, haha). Great news about J's lack of allergies so far waitwhat. My sister and BIL are here so it's been a fun/busy weekend. They are leaving tonight so my sister will come with us to B's swim lesson today. It's nice having all the extra hands, and the kiddos love them.

Yes, I have the same issue. On one hand, I feel awful B can't eat ice cream or cake or any other sweet really, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, pizza etc, but I don't want to deprive J of that. But I feel bad for B seeing his brother eating it and not being able to. Ugh.

sophiegrace those pics of M are to die for, and she's not even my baby! I can only imagine the heart strings pulling for you! classymrsa E is probably just over 26" and about 16 lbs right now. So while little, still bigger than Lylah. Her doctor calls her petite. Re: allergen foods. I still don't even know of E has a milk intolerance. I eliminated it and most times I try to reintroduce it or have something with milk she has an awful night. But I can't be sure it's not that she's teething, or an EI, or just an awful sleeper. She had a really bad screaming night the other day after I gave her quiche (with cream in it), so I lean towards yes, still a problem. I hope not though, obviously. I tell ya, I would love sleep though. Love it.

But once he started walking he slowed right down. Now he's a string bean.

I'm going to look into getting a Daddy Doll or something similar made for C. Thanks for the suggestion.

I need to look into this Daddy Doll too. E has started to notice when H is working. He usually will try to go upstairs (where our bedroom is) and look for him, or try to open the door thinking he's outside. I know it's only going to get tougher.
I'm back at work after my week off. I don't feel like looking at the 187 unread emails that I have. Thankfully our department is having our summer pot luck today, so at least there will be yummy food to eat all day long!

She breast fed all of them the same amount of time so it's not like they were fed differently. My sister is 5'3" & my BIL is 5'7".

W is in the Smokies hiking with my parents (he's gone until Saturday) and the twins are napping so I have been making banana blueberry bread and plotting to make some homemade fig newton's later this week using the figs in my fridge.
I've also been taking care of some financial stuff (we finally got life insurance on me) and now we need to write our wills. Grown up shit.

I just don't want a FTM thinking that there's something wrong with their chunky baby when both her & her H is on the smaller side. I mean, I have 2 kids. M was a freakin roly poly chunky baby alwasy in the 95% range and H is still in the 5-10% range. So....

3.5 months down and one month to go...
One month to go.. One month to go..
This shall be my mantra today.
