Weeks Pregnant: 15w 2d
Baby is the Size of an: orange
Appointments: MFM tomorrow
How are you feeling? good! Had my second covid vaccine last Friday. Arm was super sore that night but no other symptoms.
Rants/raves? I haven't told work yet, in part because I'm trying to figure out what my work load will be after the baby comes and what sort of leave I'll have (I'm considered a business owner so I don't think I technically get any leave as an employee). I'm planning to talk with my supervisors next week assuming everything looks good at tomorrow's appointment. But one person randomly outed me - we were talking about how 3 co-workers of ours are pregnant and she said "you're not pregnant, are you?" I didn't want to lie but it was so awkward. And not sure what made her say that since she only sees me on video conference and she'd have no way of knowing.
GTKY: do you have spring break? Any plans? Both of my kids are on Spring Break next week. We're going to the shore for a long weekend tomorrow, and of course I had a big work project come in that I'll probably have to devote some time to. But hoping it's a fun trip and that the weather holds up for us. It'll just be nice to have a change of scenery.

Weeks Pregnant: 12 +2
Baby is the Size of a: Hacky Sack
Appointments: I had my NIPT testing done yesterday - NT scan and cell free DNA blood draw. Everything for both babies looked great on the ultrasound - the NT thickness was within normal range for both. Also both were measuring pretty much the same around 12+4. So all looks good so far! Just waiting on the blood test results now. My next appointment is not until 5/5 for my 16 week appointment with my OB.
How are you feeling? Mostly fine. Still just getting SO HUNGRY at times and never feeling like I can adequately fill myself up. I am trying to make better food choices, but the only thing that seems to actually fill me up is carbs. Hopefully this will subside soon.
Rants/raves? My rant is over the fact that there are like.....NO plus size maternity clothes in stores anywhere. Target has a limited selection of maternity, but it's not plus sized. Old Navy has nothing Maternity in the stores, Motherhood Maternity has no stores. Like WTF. I placed an order online yesterday at Old Navy and Motherhood Maternity and hopefully everything I ordered fits. But I am just so damn frustrated at not being able to find stuff in the store, AND the fact that there is like NO plus sized maternity. Why doesn't Lane Bryant and Torrid carry maternity? Do fat women not get pregnant?!?!
GTKY: do you have spring break? Any plans? We had spring break last week. We had no plans, it was only Thurs-Mon.

tinydancer you must be from around the same area as me if you are going to the shore (and not the beach!).

Sorry! My Tapatalk is acting up and I’m not getting notifications. Boo.
Weeks Pregnant: 15w
Baby is the Size of a: box of crayons
Appointments: had an appointment last Wednesday and then not until the 28th now. Waiting for a call about my anatomy scan too.
How are you feeling? Overall pretty good. Tired at times but nausea is mostly gone.
Rants/raves? I have had a headache since last night and nothing seems to touch it. I’m laying here with an ice pack on the back of my head, hoping that it will help.
GTKY: do you have spring break? Any plans? DS had break last week. We didn’t do much since DH still worked and there’s really nowhere to go. We had a park date with a school friend but the weather was crappy otherwise.

allthekristys I hear you on the maternity wear! Luckily I still had a couple things from my last pregnancies but trying to find jeans was a nightmare. (Hello big thighs = jeans wear out fast!) I found a pair of leggings from torrid but they literally had 7 maternity items other than that. And mostly shirts. I ended up ordering from old navy and luckily they all fit. I think they had/have free shipping for returns so it may be an option. Grateful that I’m on the cusp of what they carry for plus size - (I’m usually an 18). A friend of mine is a 20/22 and she’s had to just buy larger activewear because maternity companies suck.

Hey All! Completely missed this post Weeks Pregnant: 11w 6d Baby is the Size of a:Lime Appointments: I had my 11 week appointment, no US just a doppler for the heartbeat but it was strong YAYYYY! How are you feeling? Pretty apathetic towards food... I've always been an eater but right now I don't have much of an appetite or nothing sounds good. Last night for dinner I had chicken tenders with melted cheese, this morning I couldn't find something that sounded remotely good - I tried french toast, a smoothie and then a hard boiled egg that held me over until I went and got mexican food for lunch. Apparently little nugget is a big fan of cheese and a little spice. Rants/raves? I don't have another US until 20 weeks... might opt to do an elective one at a boutique ultrasound studio. I am just curious as to what the nugget is looking like, my last one was at 7 weeks and literally looked like a blob. I also am waiting for my NIPT results to come back - I can't wait to find out the sex!! GTKY: do you have spring break? Any plans? No Spring break here... I work and have no other kids. The hubby and I are going to go to Hilton Head Island for 4th of July though and I am very much looking forward to that!

My notifications are apparently not working either! allthekristys, I'm in the DC/MD/VA area, but we went up to NJ We had one beautiful day - sunny, kids got in the ocean, went to the boardwalk, etc. - and then one rainy day and one cold day. I sort of forgot that we were going north and didn't pack appropriate clothing. Oops. chappy3, my practice normally only does two ultrasounds ~12 weeks and ~20 week anatomy scan. But I had my last appointment with an MFM and when I asked if he could do a quick listen for the heartbeat he offered to do an ultrasound instead. Gave me some real creepy pictures of the face. My two year old said baby looked scary. Haha. I think I've been feeling a few flutters here and there. It's a little hard to tell sometimes, but I think I'm feeling them, especially around bed time. It's so exciting - it's so much more reassuring when you can feel baby moving.
