It’s March y’all! How are the babies? Ages? Milestones? Funny little quirks and adorable personality traits?

This kid squeals so much! He's so happy almost all of the time and I love it. He loves to eat and is pretty sure that he should be able to walk unassisted (not true).

We're finally in the new house! DH left the day after we moved in, and my province is in full lockdown, so it's been hectic as hell here. I've been putting together furniture and unpacking boxes all week, and I still have so much left. G keeps doing new things (probably because he's hanging out with big brothers all week while I do the house stuff). First he started climbing up onto the boys little trampoline. I kept getting mad at the boys assuming they were pulling him up there, totally did not believe he was doing it himself lol. Then the next day they tell out to me and I come in the room and he's fully standing at the couch. Now he stands and holds on with just 1 hand. Today he started doing peek-a-boo by himself. We were sitting on the couch and he picked up his little blanket, covered his face, then pulled it down super quick and smiled at me. So I said boo. And he cracked up laughing then he did it over and over and over again. It was so cute and he was throwing his head back laughing at himself. On the flip side he's getting really clingy and absolutely flips out when he's not touching me. I need to get him at the exact perfect moment, and the boys have to be funny and distract him in order for me to get away. Otherwise he cried so hard and will not stop. I feel like there's more teeth coming but who knows...

He’s so cute txaggie08! And danib I’m glad you’re moved in but sorry you’re locked down. Ben got his first tooth on Friday night - finally, at 9.5 months. We had our date night babysitter back for the first time in a year (we went to an outdoor dinner) and I told her he never wakes up at night and then he did Luckily we got home right after he started crying and some meds did the trick. We leave tomorrow to go on a snowboard trip for the weekend. We only see snow once a year, and it will be Ben’s first time seeing snow. Packing for four kids including snow gear is crazy. But if will be nice to go somewhere for the first time in a long time. I’m excited that our COVID numbers are way down, so it seems like a good time to go somewhere (about a 3-hour drive away). We only have to make it through the rest of March with my big kids’ crazy hybrid schedule, and then we have two weeks of spring break and then the kids go back five days a week on 4/12. So I’m feeling hopeful! Here’s Ben at the beach recently. At his 9-month appt he was over median for weight and only 6th percentile for height - he’s a little butterball!

C had her 9 month check up this week. She’s gone from my failure to thrive baby to 51st% for weight and 95th for height! Peds GI said we could try to reintroduce dairy and eggs around 9 months. Eggs was a major fail and we haven’t tried dairy yet. Sleep is still not great. She’s up 2-3 times a night. I know I need to out in some effort to get her to sleep better but I’m just not there yet. She’s been army crawling for a while. This week she’s learned how to go from her belly to sitting, crawl on all 4s and pulled herself to standing twice.

Oh hey! I can’t remember what I last updated about but V is growing up too fast. She is 8 months old. She has 2 teeth now (bottom center) and I think she might be in the beginning stages of getting her upper front teeth. My nips are definitely feeling it. Sleeps like crap still. She’s getting a lot braver on her feet, we have a walk behind toy that she’s getting a lot of joy out of. She is still in her infant seat but she’s getting heavy so once it gets nice and stays nice outside I’m going to switch her to the convertible seat. Speaking of it being nice outside, I put the baby swing on the swing set and she seems to enjoy that as well.

Oh, I forgot to mention. V had entered stranger danger phase hardcore. She is terrified of men and cries if they are around. I took her with to DD2’s check up and she cried pretty much the whole time the male nurse and doctor were in the room. She doesn’t love strange women either, but mostly she just tries to hide her face until she warms up to them. Poor pandemic babies.

E is finally crawling forward, she only went in reverse there for awhile and she still isn't real sure of herself going forward but she can do it now! She is getting her bottom front two teeth in and she likes to imitate giggling just for fun. She is pretty good at peek a boo too and she likes to start rocking when music comes on. She has finally accepted real food without gagging and will actually show interest in it now. She has started rolling her eyes up and to the back of her head. I asked her neurologist about it because I didn't think it was a symptom of Sandifer which is what they thought her earlier shaking episodes were when her EEG came back normal last year. But with this new thing she is doing they want to do an ambulatory EEG to be safe.

TMI question: before you got your first PP period did you have a significant increase in cervical mucus?
