Weeks Pregnant: 7 weeks
Baby is the Size of a: Blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: 2/11 first ultrasound
How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Tired and not wanting to eat at night. I’ve known since pretty early on, so it feels like I’ve already been pregnant for a long time. I’m eye rolling myself.
Rants/raves? I wish I could find better maternity clothing at my local consignment shop! They did have a ton of baby carriers, so yay! *We gave away all of our baby stuff a couple years ago.
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? I love fall! I live in the Northeast, so it’s great sweatshirt weather.

I had my first ultrasound today. I thought I was 8 weeks, but I was guessing with the date of LMP. Baby is measuring 6w3d and size is good, but heartbeat was low - 58. We also saw 2 sacs, but only one with a heartbeat. Because of the low heart rate for baby, I’m going back again next week for another ultrasound. Please pray for us or send positive thoughts (whatever you prefer). I’m very worried.

louielouie sorry, I somehow missed this whole thread. I'll be thinking of you. Hopefully your dates were just off and baby keeps growing like it should. The not knowing is so tough. Ugh.

Weeks Pregnant: 7
Baby is the Size of a: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: had an intake call with the nurse this week. She seemed nice. We scheduled a virtual meeting with a genetic counselor for 2/24, and then my first in office visit with the midwives on 3/12. We'll also do the first tri screen at that time. Feels like so far away!
I actually made an appointment with a different midwife practice, and they will bring me in around 9 weeks and do an ultrasound confirmation then. I'm thinking about keeping that appointment so that I can see baby sooner, but I'm not sure if my insurance will cover appointments with two practices.
I originally made this appointment in case I didn't like the first practice since they're both new to me, but the first one is slightly closer to my home and very close to my work (not that I'm working in the office nowadays). My main concern is getting to the hospital since I have a history of precipitous labor.
How are you feeling? SOOOO exhausted. Also a little nauseous/just don't feel like eating. But mostly tired.
Rants/raves? Just want to see baby.
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Early summer/early fall. I like to have long days and be able to be outside all the time.

Weeks pregnant: 4+4
Baby is size of a: sprinkle on a cupcake
STM
Appointments- I did ivf so I’ve got lots of appointments with my RE. Tomorrow (Monday) I go for my 3rd beta draw. My 1st beta was last wednesday (hcg was 210) and then 2nd was Friday (hcg was 526). I’ve also got my first ultrasound on Thursday. I’m excited to see what’s in my Ute - as we transferred 2 embryos!
How are you feeling: Pretty good. Today I am feeling veryyy pregnant though. I’m assuming because my hcg levels are now rapidly increasing. I’ve had trouble sleeping, intense hunger and bad constipation in the past few days. Hopefully my body will regulate some in the coming days.
GTKY what is your favorite season and why: I love the fall! I love the crisp air, anticipation of the new school year and holidays. My birthday and my wife’s birthday are in October and as long as everything works out this babes bday will be in October (EDD 10/20)

I missed this last week too. Sorry!
Weeks Pregnant: 6w 5d
Baby is the Size of a: firecracker
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: TTM
Appointments: I kept forgetting to make my ultrasound appointment last week. Then when I finally called, they were closed 🤦🏻♀️. Hoping for sometime this week once they’re back open tomorrow.
How are you feeling? Tired, nauseous. I’ve had to up my diclectin the last couple days and even at max dose isn’t quite cutting it.
Rants/raves? I THINK (🤞🏻) that my spotting has stopped. Between cutting caffeine, lowering my dosage of my antidepressants ( Dr orders) and taking probiotics (I suspected an undiagnosed UTI) I don’t know if anything helped or my uterus just decided to cooperate and give me a bit of hope.
GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? I love fall but it is way too short and happens way too early. The only bad thing is it happens right before our 6-7 months of cold and snow.

whatsit Oh good! I am crossing my fingers for you that you see a healthy pregnancy when you go in. I know you’ve been so anxious about making the appointment. My appointment is tomorrow at lunch time. I’m a total nervous wreck right now. I have not had any bleeding, and I am still having all of my normal pregnancy symptoms. I am so hopeful, but I am also prepared to hear bad news if that is the case. The only things getting me through are the fact that so many other women have experienced this road, and the support of my DH. Thank you to everyone who has offered positive thoughts for us!

Well there was a heartbeat! It started low - 95bpm but after a couple minutes went up to 120bpm. I’m also measuring a few days behind so there wasn’t much to see. Tech mentioned a follow up depending what my dr says.
I’m just relieved as we never saw a heartbeat with our last.

Weeks Pregnant: 4w3d Baby is the Size of a:Poppy Seed FTM/STM/TTM/etc.:FTM Appointments: First appointment to do history and draw blood 3/8 and first ultrasound 3/15 How are you feeling? Cautiously optimistic - nauseous, crampy, tired Rants/raves? I have a lot of anxiety about the viability of the pregnancy - a lot of my friends have suffered miscarriages and I'm worried about every single little feeling or sensation or lack there of. I know there is LITERALLY nothing I can do about it so I'm trying my best to be in the moment and enjoy GTKY: What is your favorite season and why? Spring! Because where I live it only lasts about 3 weeks so I love when I can leave the windows open and enjoy the cool weather

Congrats chappy3 & welcome! I also had a lot of anxiety with my DD1. I have no advice other than to take it one day at a time. You are pregnant today. Don't worry about the future. I know, it's easy to say that.

I have officially entered the 'exhausted to the bone' portion of 1st tri. I really just muster up enough energy to do the bare minimum. I feel bad at work, but I just have no energy to deal.
I go for my 2nd US Thursday and I am hoping to hear 2 heartbeats!

Welcome and congrats chappy3! The anxiety is tough and, unfortunately, it doesn't go away when baby is born. One day at a time, try to focus on other things if you can. Also, don't worry if you don't seem to have symptoms yet or at all - with my first I felt perfectly fine and nothing was really different until my clothes stopped fitting (which took longer than expected)! Not so lucky this time unfortunately. I feel you on the exhaustion allthekristys. I just got some sea bands and ginger ale and who knows if any of it really works but the nausea seems better, so 🤷🏻♀️. I decided to keep my appointment with the second practice tomorrow so I should be able to finally get a peek at baby. Fingers crossed everything looks ok.

Welcome chappy3! Congrats! I didn’t get a chance to nap yesterday because we were out and about. I was exhausted and ended up sleeping 11 hrs (?!?!) Nausea can suck it. I might look into the sea bands as well. Diclectin doesn’t do much after a certain point in the day.

Had a good appointment today - baby measured right on track, 9w1d, and had a strong heartbeat, estimated 150-160 range.
I really liked the MW I met with too but I feel like thia practice may be too far away (it's about 35-40on drive each way). And she basocally confirmed my fear that I may not make it to the hospital with my history of precipitous labor and actually recommended a birth center that's a little closer to me. Has anyone had a birth center birth before?
We may tell our parents soon. But tbh, I think only 1 of 3 sets will be excited so I may hold off awhile longer. We haven't told anyone yet.
