Anyone? I know it’s early for October babies, but I found out about 1 week ago I’m pregnant with #3. I usually lurk and occasionally post, but I would love to talk about babies since it’s been a few years (DD is 7, DS is almost 5).

Me! I'm also mostly a lurker, especially lately. This will be number 3 for me too, my EDD should be right around Oct 1. I have a son who just turned 5 and a daughter who's 2.5.

I am here. Barely pregnant with a EDD of Oct 6. I am active on the Blinds and Royals threads and been keeping up in TTC.
I have a 5 year old Son and an almost 3 year old Daughter. Hoping this will be my rainbow after a loss in October.

whatsit sorry for your loss. It's so hard mentally - I've been there. I hope this is an uneventful pregnancy.

I’m really glad to see you’ll both be third time moms too. I’m anxious about this transition. I don’t really know how I’ll divide my time and energy!

Take the time you need. I totally understand needing to build yourself up to something that’s so anxiety inducing. 💗 My first appointment is in 3 weeks. Let us know how you’re doing.

I might try to make one for next week and go from there. They only do prenatal appts certain days of the week - since H works shift work I have to plan when I can go.

Good luck whatsit, if you schedule it we'll be thinking about you! My area is so high volume getting appointments can be a process. I called one place on Monday (which was CD 34) and the soonest they could get me in is Feb 23! I called another place and they will do a virtual intake appointment with a nurse at about 7 weeks (Feb 9) and then will schedule the first in office appointment with a midwife at around 10 weeks. Maybe that's normal especially in pandemic times but it feels like such a long wait ☹. I would just like to see the little bean.

Any symptoms yet? I can't really remember when they start, but I sort of thought with my miscarriage (2nd pregnancy) and with J (DD) I was nauseous almost right away. I don't feel much of any nausea now, which is nervewracking, although I wasn't sick with my first, M.
Sometimes I think I feel a little pressure on my cervix, which is also nervewracking, as I had that (to a much greater degree) before my loss. Gah, these early weeks are so hard.
Also, please let me know if you'd like a TW for loss or anything else.

Thanks! tinydancer that’s a crazy wait! Our dr here won’t even schedule anything more than 2 weeks out because of Covid ( small town has its perks too). I’m personally ok without TW. It’s comforting to see others experiences 🤷🏻♀️. symptoms - just my boobs hurting. The bloat is real too. I’ve had a couple moments of nausea but nothing compared to what I know it can/will be. But hi... 4 weeks 😂

whatsit You did it! Hopefully you’ll have a beautiful baby to see very soon. tinydancer My symptoms are fairly mild this time around. With my other 2 kids I was so nauseous at night. This time around I’m super bloated, gassy, and hungry. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m 6 weeks now. No boob soreness yet. I found out my first ultrasound is less than 2 weeks away - Feb 11th!

whatsit thinking of you and hoping for a great appointment! A few waves of nausea over here and a little bit tired. Otherwise pretty good and just waiting. We had some snow over the weekend and were able to take the kids sledding. They had tons of fun.

Thanks tinydancer! Fairly uneventful appointment. The Dr I had for my loss was thankfully there (he was supposed to move at the end of January but...Covid) so that was a small comfort. I’ve been spotting since before my positive test - which happened with my loss pregnancy too. So I was even more anxious to go in and figure things out. Getting HCG checked today, then twice more over the weekend and will go back Monday to find out.

Thanks louielouie I will for sure. I gave up caffeine on Tuesday just in an attempt to help. (Basically reaching for whatever I can do). I feel like ass - headache, fatigue - but the spotting has slowed a bit so I’ll take it. May be a coincidence.... who knows? Definitely not out of the woods until I know more Monday.

I stopped caffeine and feel pretty awful too. Although, a glass of ice water makes me feel better any time I feel yucky. 🤷🏻♀️ Should we do a check in thread each week? I’ve seen some of the other BMBs are doing that.

louielouie. I’d be up for a check in. However regularly everyone wants. 🤷🏻♀️ Sipping my ginger tea after horrible nausea around supper. I apparently can check my betas online. They didn’t have that in November when I was waiting for them to drop again so that was a fun find today. 1281 on Wednesday and 2072 yesterday. Not quite double but... is that good? 😂

So betas went up to 3074 so definitely not double. Now to get the ultrasound to see what’s up. Except DH went for a Covid test this morning so I’ll be waiting a couple days to book an appt.
Dr also wants me to cut back on my antidepressants which I did with my other pregnancies anyway. He seemed more concerned about it than my last dr and possibly wants me to change which one I’m on. Especially if this pregnancy isn’t valid.

Hey tinydancer I measured 6w3d (so about 1.5 weeks behind where I thought I was) and the heart rate was very slow. I’m going back for another ultrasound on 2/17 to see if there’s any progress. I’m very nervous and worried. I’m still having symptoms, so I’m very hopeful that means something positive for Wednesday.
