The babies will be 6 months this week. I can’t believe it! Covid has made time so weird. I feel like it went much faster than my 6 months with my first. Most twin parents I’ve talked to have said the first year is an insane blur, especially the first 6 months, and they were right. I guess because you don’t get a free lap much lol.
I’m looking forward to seeing how big they have gotten at their well check on Thursday.

Ben will be 5 months on Thursday. Poor guy has his first little cold - he’s just a little snotty but he does not like laying flat at night. A kid in our 3-year-old’s class tested positive for covid. It’s now been 11 days since he was with her and he tested negative, so the pediatrician didn’t think Ben needed to be tested because of his runny nose. No one else associated with the school has tested positive, luckily. 3-year-old can’t go back to school till next week, and it’s conference week for my older kids so they only have half days on their two days of school. So DH and I are trying to do the bare minimum at work and make it till toddler goes back to or school next week and big kids are in full day camp for fall break. Craziness... Here’s Ben. He says ‘hey ladies, want a ride?’

Time is definitely flying willow, it's crazy 6 months already!!! He's so cute sdlaura! Eta - sorry about the Covid scare. I hate that we have to worry about kids catching this.

DH leaves tomorrow morning for 3 weeks. He'll miss DS2's birthday and Halloween, but I'll have my mom to help out at least. We also haven't had anyone view our house in a while which is frustrating. I really don't want to have to deal with it around Christmas again. G is slowly getting back to a half-decent sleeping pattern, thank goodness. Do not want to deal with zero sleep while solo parenting. New favorite thing is eating his toes lol.

Morning. V is 16 weeks and is still in the leap, it’s a long one. She loves playing with little toys and sticking them in her mouth. I have pain in my right boob and I’m not sure what it is. I don’t feel any clogs so I think maybe it could be thrush but there are no outward signs of it. Who knows, I should probably call my doctor and see what she wants me to do. My big kids were both on fall break Monday and Tuesday, and my husband is on vacation from work, so my week is very out of whack. Today everyone is where they belong and it is nice to have quiet time with just V.
Nap snuggles yesterday afternoon. She has the best cheeks!
Poof

danib, Ben sucks on his fingers and shoves his whole hand in his mouth. Which is probably how he got a cold!

C had her GI appointment this week. They changed her from Pepcid to Prevacid, we have to have an ultrasound of her belly on Tuesday, increased the amount of formula we are fortifying with and change that from alimentum to elecare. I really liked the doctor. We also have to have weight checks every 2 weeks with her regular pedi since the GI office is 2 hours away. It was nice to have someone who really listened to my concerns and that we finally have a plan in place. She also went over the next steps if this doesn’t work. Other than weight gain and spit up she’s going great. She’s a happy baby and sleeps usually sleeps through the night.

I’m glad you meshed with the doctor and you have a good plan in place magaroni. I hope she stops spitting and starts gaining soon.
