Ben is 4.5 months. Updates: Ben had a late 4-month appointment today and his stats are great, especially since he was a 6 lb 9 oz preemie. Pediatrician said to transition out of snoo within next month or so, which I planned anyway, and that will help with his head flatness in the back. I’ve started the hair loss phase and feel like it’s falling out everywhere. I also have eyelash extensions and it’s making me lose those faster, too. I ordered a baby Yoda costume for Halloween. I’m not a big Star Wars person and we have other baby costumes, but it was just so adorable. Milestones: He still loves rolling both ways and I think he’s close to sitting up independently. He tries to do baby crunches to sit up when he’s reclined at all, and he can sit up if he’s in my lap. DS2 was siting up in his 5-month pictures. Now I’m worried that Ben will also walk at 8 months, which I really don’t need for my fourth kid I’d be perfectly happy for him to wait till a year. ETA - I forgot a pic. Happy after he pooped up his back and I picked him up and got it all over me too

Hi friends. It feels a little like Groundhog Day over here.
V is 14 weeks and getting so much more fun. She’s been batting at toys on her play gym, being much more vocal and overall a happy girl. Sleep overnight has been ok. I started the bad habit of just pulling her into bed with me when she wakes and falling asleep nursing her. I feel like she wakes up more when I do that so I need to stop. She’s still swaddled at night and for most naps.
In regards to me, I have started dipping my toe into macro counting. I’m struggling a bit with getting the right ratios in my meals and by the end of the day everything falls apart because I stop tracking and eat cookies or whatever. Gotta work on my will power because I caught a side view look at myself naked the other day and it is not good. Nothing fits well or looks good and I refuse to buy more clothes for this size so weight loss is the only option.
Here’s a pic of V doing tummy time with her big sis.
Poof

Nathaniel is almost 4 months old (crazy!) He had his first daycare cold and fever last week, and because of the times we're in he got to get tested for covid. We just found out today that it was negative - hooray! - so he can go back to daycare tomorrow since his fever has been gone since midday Saturday. Hopefully I can catch up on all of the work I missed while trying to work, do virtual school, and handle a sick baby. As long as he's not hungry, he's such a happy little person. He loves to talk and gets upset if we don't pay enough attention to him. He did this to his play mat yesterday. It was hilarious and he was so happy with his fort!

Miles is 4 months as of Monday. And I’m tired, lol. He hasn’t slept more than a 5 hour stretch in a while. I swear I dreamt he slept 7-9 hours at one point 🥺 And very very rarely do naps exceed 45 mins. He’s mostly happy when he’s awake thankfully, but doesn’t really like when we’re not holding him for too long. It’s just rough on days I work because for example last night he went down at 8:30pm, was up at 1am, and then 4am.... which at that point I had to get up to go to work. So I got like..... maybe 3 hours of sleep because my body also hates me and I couldn’t get to sleep until after 11. Anyway I guess I’m just going to complain about sleep this week, lol. Well I guess I’m other news he’s very much more aware and interested i things going on and is grabbing at and holding toys, SO says he’s holding a bottle pretty well. We aren’t rolling yet but I think part of that is his resistance to laying independently for long enough times. I almost feel like he’ll be sitting up on his own first. At least he’s cute

wasabi He sounds like my DS1 with regard to sleep. You'll make it, but it's rough. I'm sorry.

G is just over 4 months. This week has been a nightmare for sleep. He's waking up every 2 hours, and towards morning even more frequently. It's painful. He did this for about 2 weeks following his 2 month needles as well, so I'm expecting another week of this. Hopefully not, because I might crack up, but we'll see. He's rolling more frequently but still gets frustrated when he gets "stuck". He's also grabbing toys more often and loves putting things in his mouth (most recently his feet).

wasabi a lot of how you describe M is how my firstborn was. It was super hard. His sleep finally got better around 8 or 9 months when I sleep trained him. I probably could’ve done it much earlier. But he also was up at least once a night for a bottle until he was at least 6 or 7 months old. So rough.

The twins are 5.5 months old. I can’t complain too much. They really are unicorns. They barely went through a regression and sleep really well at night. Naps have gotten shorter but that’s to be expected at this age. I hope to drop their late 4th nap in the next month or so.
They are just super smiley happy babies. Very vocal and chatty. G is so close to finally rolling all the way onto his belly. It’s funny having two babies at once to compare their differences in development. H has been rolling over for at least a month, but doesn’t seem as sturdy when sitting up in our laps as G is. Just different advances for both of them!

The worst part about all of my hair shedding is that it gets into all the food. I wear my hair in a pony tail a lot but it’s still everywhere.
