July has felt super slow to me for some reason. I’m not sure why.
My oldest’s school just announced they are online only, until mid October.
I had a feeling it was coming.

Z got his first stitches today. He was jumping on the couch after going to timeout for jumping on the couch and fell into the coffee table. He’s not acting like it’s bothering him and he did really well getting the stitches. He’s probably going to have a black eye tomorrow.

I still have no idea what our school district is doing and we are less than a month out from the start date.
Z is acting like nothing ever happened. He's pretty swollen though.

I am so conflicted about school. I'm 99.99% sure we'll send our kids (K, 2nd, and preschool) even though we definitely fall into the category of "could keep our kids home without doing them physical or emotional harm". But we're two working parents so it wouldn't be as convenient for us if they were home. I know it's also very regional so I can't let the naysayer articles get to me too much. Our governor has said 50% of instruction must be face to face, so unless lawyers get involved and the district has a strong case to go 100% virtual, face to face learning will be an option in the fall. Even those districts that already announced 100% virtual from day one are reworking their plans to accommodate the governor's orders. She's the absolute worst, btw.

Our state isn't releasing guidelines until early August and then districts develop plans from there. Some districts have pushed back their start dates, but parents are still frustrated. I am supposed to start 8/19 and am anxiously waiting Poor Z. I am glad that it isn't bothering him though.

I am waiting for my dr to call me with test results. I have had almost 6 weeks of bleeding (goes between really light, to spotting to heavy). So I went on Monday and she ordered bloodwork and a pelvic u/s which I was able to do both the same day.

Hope everyone is ok klw and it’s always funny to me how tough kids are PennyCandyBoth of my kids woke up a lot last nights. I’m so tired. I feel like I have a newborn. Ugghh! There is a lot of chatter that the Arizona Governor is going to announce online only until October. We will see, his press conference is tomorrow.

The office just called to say that my u/s and thyroid test was normal, but my pregnancy test came back as positive. My number was only 29, so I guess all of the bleeding was me miscarrying. I have to go back for a recheck next week.

I've been doing OK. I've had a few sad moments. But honestly, I think what has helped is that I didn't even know that I was pregnant. My other 2 miscarriages I had been for an ultrasound already. I was about 8 weeks along for those and dealing with low progesterone. I go back on Tuesday for more blood work so hopefully my number has dropped enough that they won't need to give me anything. Thanks so much for asking!!!
