Hi guys. It has been a while for me. The last time I checked in was February when I had my egg retrieval. That went well and we have 5 PGS-normal embryos on ice. I am scheduled for an FET next Wednesday! I have my final ultrasound and bloodwork appointment today to see how things are progressing. I am anxious/nervous/excited, as to be expected.
This is the first time we have done an FET with KNOWN PGS-tested "normal" embryos, so it's a new area of hope that I haven't really had since our very first positive pregnancy test years ago.
I hope you're all doing well.

♪♫choppinbroccoli♫♪ well that makes it difficult to test, lol. Do they do your betas a certain number of days after your last booster? My clinic does HCG boosters too, but not until after a positive. Right?? So my beta is tomorrow, and that last hCG shot was on Sunday morning, so I guess 5 days? I innocently (lol) asked how they know that the beta results isn't residual hCG from the booster shots, and I was told the half-life for hCG is about 1 day, so by day 5 it would be 0.03125 times the initial value (assuming my body was not creating any on its own). That's interesting how your clinic does it. Do you know how long they give you the boosters after your first positive?

♪♫choppinbroccoli♫♪- it’s actually not bad- I think my patients like it because when I tell them I understand- I really do. I’m in the trenches with them. I love graduating my patients! It makes my heart so happy and still fills me with hope. As for me- beta was yesterday and my 8dp5dt beta was 94! Repeat on Monday. It’s so strange- my numbers weren’t this high until I was 5 weeks last time. My ectopic numbers went: 27, 51, 115, 300. I’m just in a perpetual state of worry that my doc won’t find a kid in there or my numbers will disappear. I’m not even in beta he’ll- I’ve just put myself there from previous experience.

My beta from Friday (9dp5dt) came back at 53.6. A little lower than I'd like to see, but my nurse told me they are happy with anything above 50. It's my lowest first beta that I have had, but I need to shake that mindset because even though all the others rose appropriately, they ended in miscarriages. My repeat is on Tuesday, and it feels like an eternity to wait.
