I'm not sure I know how to forum anymore lol. How is everyone doing? I'd love to hear from y'all. There was mention of a Facebook group and I finally got Facebook so if someone wants to pm me I'd like to get reconnected with everyone that I can.

We have been extremely lucky through the pandemic. DH works in the ED and amazingly hasn't been exposed yet. I stay at home with the toddler anyway and discovered my inner introvert 🙈.
S is tall, talks like crazy and says the funniest stuff, hair is just wavy enough to never ever look neat, potty trained during the day, permanent scabs on his knees now that it's shorts weather. Loving the swing and sandbox we set up for him a couple weeks ago. Took him to my allergy specialist yesterday and confirmed my suspicion that his 3.5 weeks of "allergy symptoms" were indeed a reaction to the grass in the field by our houseðŸ˜. He's obsessed with bicycles but our acreage has a driveway that really slopes down to a well traveled road and then there's 4 feet drop in the other side into the field. So no wheels for him. This age is such a rollercoaster from looking/acting grown up to meltdown over we don't even understand what.
Aaaand I got my IUD out yesterday so I'm gonna start posting on TTGP.

Hi alwayscheese! Glad to hear things are going well. I’ll pm you re:Facebook. We’ve been doing well with everything going on. My town has been fortunate to only have had one case of covid so far. We’re still being careful with who we see and how (mostly outside visits). We’ve done a bit of camping to get out a bit and have been doing some renos to the outside of our house. A is busy busy. She also is part of the skinned knees club - she is fairly pigeon toed and trips over her own feet if she gets going too fast. Her speech has boomed the last few months and I am amazed at what all she says. She also copies her big brother a lot, with both speech and actions. She’s grown almost 2 inches since her birthday and she’s such a little girl now and not my little baby (she told me so today).

Oooh I’m excited for you alwayscheese! And I was so happy to see some posts in here. I miss this group. whatsit can you pm the FB too? I would love to chit chat with you guys again if there is chit chatting happening there. B is doing well. Remember when my pregnancy was super stressful and I was like, he’ll be a super chill baby? And then he wasn’t and I was like, oh he’ll get it out before toddlerhood then. Guess how that’s turned out? He is just the smartest, funniest, cutest, snuggliest little absolute dictator tyrant ever. He has has big bro wrapped firmly around his little finger and probably the rest of us too. We’ve been managing Covid life pretty decently here. We were hoping for Disney in Feb 2021 but no, lol no.

Hey, hey! I got batsignaled and had to pop in here, of course. Good luck alwayscheese! Fx your tenure at TTGP is short <3 I'm glad to hear that Lyra isn't the only kiddo getting banged up. She's... all over the place. Hecka smart, basically doesn't stop or shut up, definitely testing all my boundaries. She's the best and I'm so lucky to have her. COVID cases in our county (and zip code) have been steadily getting worse, so even though we moved to Phase 2 about a month ago and did a couple 1o1 playdates, we've re-quarantined and it's been a steady slide back into the depression/meh zone. I also lost my core support group at the beginning of quarantine, so I've been feeling more lonely and isolated than I think I would normally have if that hadn't happened.

Glad to see this board with some new posts. alwayscheese eek I'm so excited for you! I hope your TTC journey is short. leatherpants your description of B fits my L perfectly lol. Rama glad to see you. I'm sorry that you are dealing with all this Covid awfulness without your support system. I hope things get better for you. We are doing fairly well over here. Emotions flow and we have our good and bad days. I've had my niece and nephew since March because my sister has to work and it can be a bit stressful caring for 4 kids. I'm getting a bit anxious with school starting again next week and juggling 3 in school plus the toddler. L seems to fit in with the other M/A18 toddlers as she is such a goofy, wild, fearless, never stops moving or talking bossy little thing. She's the complete opposite of her sister and constantly keeps me on my toes-this past week she seems to be going back to her sticking things up her nose phase that we did this past winter. Hopefully we can avoid another ER visit now that I've learned some tricks from them 😬. But she is so sweet and the cuddliest little bug that I'm sad she seems to be growing up so fast. Especially with her big sister and cousins around she just wants to be a big kid like them and not my little baby anymore.

leatherpants - pmd you a couple days ago, don’t know if you saw. Got my IUD out today so add me to the TTGP bench with alwayscheese. Yikes! The doctor just assumed I had 2 boys or 2 girls. Just because we have one of each doesn’t mean we need to stop at 2..... 🤔
