cornpop really high grade fish oil or mixing coconut oil in your coffee might help.

cornpop, i'm guessing you're still off coffee? that seems to be the only thing that really does the trick for me. i've tried eating like a bunch of broccoli too - but with the bloat involved with that i wouldn't recommend! i seem to be going back and forth between constipated and the other option - so that's fun. i just want to be regular again😐

anyone else suffering from pregnancy brain yet? in the last two weeks i have gotten appointment times wrong, gone to wrong addresses to take care of new house business, and yesterday i managed to double book our vacation we're taking in september. ugh. 2 hours on the phone with expedia to get it sorted - i wanted to cry. i did cry actually. i swear i'm not this flakey normally.

And of course it was like 45min away from our house🤦🏼♀️ little stuff like that has been happening all week.

Spotting can be totally normal and totally nothing.. right? Trying to tell myself that, anyway.

cornpop and mrsmonogrammed those are commiseration tits. twocupsofcoffee yes spotting can be completely normal. the anxiety it causes is no fun i am sorry! i guess i should call it a trip, it's a conference for my h. it is in portugal though, so i guess i made it into a vacation. we're only going for 4 days, but it is childless so i will take it! i'm just bummed about no wine and having to be a little more cautious about what i'm eating. i feel like flying without a toddler will be a luxury in itself.

I think the nausea is finally kicking in. I think I'm going to skip dinner...the smell is horrible tonight.

alwayscheese, polson, nuggetrn, mrsmonogrammed, It really helps to hear how normal it is, even though the head still goes nuts. Have also had low grade cramping for the past few days so I'm trying to stay in the mode of "it's alllll normal"

As long as it is pretty minimal I would try not to stress. Don't be afraid to get checked out though if things ramp up though, even if it's just for peace of mind. Big hugs

Well I can add ridiculous emotions to my list of symptoms. I got home from work and realized MH took my leftover mac and cheese to work for lunch. And I cried. And he felt so bad that he made me two different kinds of mac and cheese and burned himself in the process. In my defense, not much has been sounding good and when I made the mac and cheese last night it really hit the spot. I was so looking forward to the leftovers for dinner after this long and blah day. My poor H, his face was 😳😳😳

I will take all the nausea remedies. Regular tums and ginger chews are out bc just looking at them reminds me of my first pregnancy's "morning" sickness too much. I got chewy tums and ordered preview pop drops and a morning/motion sickness inhaler from amazon that should arrive tomorrow.
Has anyone seen the pendants you can out a drop of EOs on? I'm wondering if that would look less ridiculous at work than the weird little inhaler.
I've already lost almost 5lbs (...though I'm sure ditching wine has helped LOLOL) because all good sounds horrible.... except for pizza. Which then gives me killer heartburn 🙄

Leaf 🌱, Have you tried the seasickness bands? Not sure if that will help, but might be worth a try? As for getting heartburn while eating pizza...could you take zantac before you eat it? That has been helping me get through all the heartburn. Or maybe try a non tomato sauce pizza?

And this is about the time my paranoia kicks in... I have three m/c when trying to get pregnant with my first (he's an IVF baby, finally success on our 4th cycle). My other two are "bed babies" and my RE monitored me in early pregnancy with them. He won't with this one (I mean I haven't really been a patient there in nearly 10 years).
I'll be 5w tomorrow.
I know it's too early for any symptoms.
But dammit, I need that reassurance. So, I recommend you all buy stock in FRER because I pee on one of those bad boys 2x a day.
So I guess my only symptom is magic pee and a touch of boob soreness.

Is anyone getting depressed from their MS? Mine gets progressively worse each day and it gets worse as the day goes on so each night after my daughter goes to bed I'm basically just sitting on the couch crying until I go to sleep.
I usually at least feel better when I sleep but last night I didn't at all and I feel like mentally I'm going to a not great place. I just can't handle 7 more weeks of this.

cornpop yes, girl. I feel guilty for being sick ruining summer with my kids and for not cleaning/cooking properly. I had a breakdown two weeks ago. I love this baby but this pregnancy is different than my first and I'm having a really hard time coping. I'm not eating much/well either. I'm sorry you're having a difficult time too, I wish I could help. I'm getting moments of feeling fine as second trimester closes in so I'm trying to focus on that. Eta: do you have nausea meds? 9/10 I don't bother because it makes me drowsy but sometimes I cave and take it.

babybean what meds? I'm doing b6+unisom but it's barely cutting the nausea. Its diclectin here, I think it's diglecsis (?) in the US. I believe unisom and b12 or b6 are the main ingredients anyway. I know people that've taken zofran too. No drowsiness but it's a heavier medication.

cornpop I am sorry, that sounds miserable. I also recommend talking to your OB to see if there are meds that might help. Have you tried sticking to the BRAT diet? That sometimes helps me. I am 6wks today and my MS really ramped up this past weekend. In some cruel twist of fate I can't tolerate anything heavy in dairy. I had a blizzard and it immediately came back up. Now the thought of anything cream or milk based turns my stomach. Dairy is usually my favorite.

Oddly enough spicy things and tomatoes don't bother me but like you, I can't tolerate dairy. I am seeing how I feel today after taking a whole unisom instead of a half last night before calling my OB. I honestly don't think they'll be very helpful. They seem resistant to prescribing anything.

I do hope your nausea eases up soon.

I know it can happen and be normal but in the past couple of days my symptoms have decreased a lot. I should probably be grateful but instead I'm nervous.

I realized I feel great (relatively speaking 😂) this morning bc I didn't take my prenatal vitamin last night. Guess I'll be moving that to the daytime with a meal instead of before bed.
