Does anyone have an AHA/BHA product they love? I'm looking to add one. I tried Pixi Glow tonic a few years ago and loved how smooth my skin felt, but it made me majorly break out. I know that's normal initially, but I gave it 3 months. Are you looking for more cleansing? or serum? My GF uses the T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum by Drunk Elephant and she swears by it. Ive never used it tho. I have been using a sample of Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser since Sat (I've only used it twice so far). I don't notice anything beneficial yet, but I can say it hasnt broke me out or anything yet.

I don't know if this question goes here, but can we talk about body hair and best way to remove?? I just shave my legs with a razor. I don't want to have to worry about this when we go away next week. I'm thinking about waxing or like some sort of hair removal cream maybe? Any recommendations? I think the last time I was away (7 years ago for our honeymoon) I used like a Nair cream something. If I wax, how long would it last (generally?). Disclaimer I have not shaved for a little while and it is making me go batty. I need to know when I can remove it for maximum softness while away! (paging Betweenthelines because you were talking about waxing earlier this week...wasn't sure what part you had waxed!lol)

(paging Betweenthelines because you were talking about waxing earlier this week...wasn't sure what part you had waxed!lol) I get a Brazilian, but my waxer swears that waxing her legs is amazing. I just don't have the time and money for that. It is a little pricey! If you do wax, it's probably be your best bet for maximum smoothness. If I'm going away, I try to get waxed as close as I can to leaving (the day or 2 before I leave) and I can go a month before my next wax, but about 2 weeks before I have VERY little regrowth. And the more you go, the thinner/less the hair grows back too.

redandblue I would definitely recommend waxing. I haven't touched a razor regularly in years. And like Betweenthelines said, the more you wax the thinner/sparser your hair gets. If you're getting waxed for the first time or have sensitive skin, you might be red or irritated for a day afterwards so factor that into your timing. I think it's super convenient because I'm super lazy.

I use Urban Decay setting spray. Ive also used NYX and liked it. The only downside was the spray was aggressive. It left me with droplets of water on my face and ruined all my hard work. So I spray it on a sponge first and pat on my face. Kathleen lights recently reviewed setting sprays and I have a few I want to try bc of it - glamglow for one. It's a good review if you have some time to waste

45thparallel, that's good to know! I wanted to try to Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer too, and I noticed there is a favourites box at sephora with both that and the all nighter + others. The box is less money than both full size products so I may go with that since I don't go through makeup very fast anyway! Lol I will probably have to wait until November-ish to order but I am getting excited to try some new things.

The primerizer is on my list to try too. I'm just really loving my current primer and moisturizer I'm trying to convince myself I don't need another one haha

hahaha yup. I have an arbonne primer but I'm not really sure that it does anything. One thing that is going on my list for sure is a brush set. I have a small brush set for doing eyeshadow but none of the big brushes. Is it a big sale in Nov?

I am watching the one where Casey's boyfriend goes to Sephora and buys her makeup and then she uses it. Pretty funny. I would be curious about how it would turn out for a non-makeup person's spouse though haha. Like he knew he needed setting spray, so I feel like his knowledge is much higher than usual lol

I'm sure they learn a lot from just being around it. I seriously wonder how my BF would so. I talk a TON about makeup at home.

Yeah that would be so interesting! I almost never do and am just learning about it so I think my DH would be like "wut" to almost everything haha. DD loves watching makeup videos with me so I bet she would know which area of the face to apply what haha

Help me! I hate lipstick but want to use color on my lips? Is there a good lip balm or gloss I can use that my hair won't get stuck in?!

Help me! I hate lipstick but want to use color on my lips? Is there a good lip balm or gloss I can use that my hair won't get stuck in?! Buxom is my favourites gloss but my hair can stick to it. For a light wash of color you could try the Tarte Rescue balms. They are very subtle wash of color, hydrating, and no hair-sticking. YSL tint in balm and Lancôme matte shakers could also work.

Can we talk the Sephora sale?
What have you picked up already? What are you debating on? What product(s) would you get if $$ was unlimited?

I went to look on the beauty board and the sephora thread there is pretty dead. 1. I've never bought anything from sephora yet but I'd like to! 2. I'm debating the lip kit. It's $82 and has a whole bunch of kinds and colours. I am so bad at picking colours so I am debating if this is a good way to buy things I wouldn't normally pick out. 3. hahahah. If money were no option here are the things on my list: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Colourpop Lip Gloss Trio Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette Just Peachy mattes eyeshadow palette Glamglow supermud set Algenist genius liquid collagen Too Faced Chocolate bon bons eyeshadow palette Caudelie anti-wrinkle serum Nars creamy concealer Diorshow Mascara Tartiest Quick Dry Matte in Festival & Birthday Suit Kat Von D liquid lipstick in mauve Marc Jacobs lipstick - creamy rose Fresh Sugar Lip Serum you know... just a few things

I think bronzer was (is?) the toughest thing for me to know exactly where and how to apply it. It was my slippery slope into all things bronzing and contouring lol. ETA: if you do end up wanting to collect bronzers like I do, physicians formula butter bronzer is a drugstore love of mine. It goes on sale at Walmart and Shoppers a few times a year so I usually keep my eyes out for that (the butter blushes are good too!)

CestLaVie I went on the other boards hunting for a thread for the sale too. IIRC this is something people got excited for and the thread used to be pretty lively (And dangerous for my wallet)!

45thparallel,I remember past threads too which is how I built my wishlist! I love the bronzer. It's not the best quality but I am amazed what a difference it makes to my skin appearance.
