Ooooo. I recently purchased Physicians Formula mineral pressed powder for everyday wear, and I really like it. The shade is a tad off, but once I am able to spend some time getting some vitamin D in the sun (still with SPF) it will look great. Half the price of the MAC I was using, which is nice especially for simply going to work. MAC is still great, but my budget doesn't like it.

Amazon Canada sucks balls. Google tells me Walmart carries it? I've never seen it but I'll take a look. I want to try their pressed powders and bronzers.

I tried my new NYX Wonder Stick this morning. I think I overblended because my face just looks the same haha. I'm a bit wary of a heavy hand after the eyebrow debacle haha.

I'm already in love with this thread. Also FYI a board was created for fashion and beauty so our addiction will have more feeding! In whomp whomp news B spilled a brand new bottle of EL Doubkewear everywhere this morning. So I'll need a moment of silence for it.

I'm in love with my It cosmetics CC cream. It's 50spf and great coverage. My skin is weird and easily breaks out when I change stuff but it hasn't with this.

I need a good foundation but have never found a formula that actually works with my skin Rec your foundation!! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk The it cosmetics one is great. I also liked Naked by Urban Decay. Super light weight but great coverage. It didn't have SPF though. My face is weird and breaks out easily and I have an oily T zone. I have to use translucent powder with any foundation.

45thparallel, I was just at Shoppers (lol) and they had a whole display of Physician's Formula (not in the beauty boutique, in the regular cosmetics area). I had never noticed it before.

I am laughing to myself. Our receptionist is super shy and doesn't talk much (she's pretty young).
I can see on her computer and she's looking at the Lime Crime website. I saw her yesterday leaving shoppers at lunch.
I should be super creepy and whisper "lets be friends"

My skin is combo, leaning slightly dry. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk TBH it's hard because every foundation wears differently on different skin types and primer, and with the right skin care you can make any foundation look flawless. In general I like the NYX angel viel primer but with the foundation I'm having to use right now I'm still finding the right primer. I'm like the L'Oréal True Match. I've also loved Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth in the past. For high end I just bought Este Lauder Double Wear but it's heavy. The IT CC cream gets rave reviews. The good thing about high end is you can go into sephora and get samples! The Armani Luminous is pretty amazing. The other thing to consider is if you want a matte or dewy finish.

TTMA primers. I'm obsessed with them but can't decide if they actually do anything. I do experiments where I use one on half my face and compare to another on the other half. Some I find oily, but I haven't been wowed. Yet I use it everyday. I have tried: Smashbox, Benefit, ELF, monistat chafing gel that's supposed to be like Smashbox, Mary Kay, Temptu (from an ipsy box), and Coola. Do I have unrealistic expectations of what they're supposed to do? I just want something to fill my pores. Sent from my ZTE A2017U using Tapatalk I have only ever tried the Arbonne primer and I mostly love how it feels on my face. I haven't found a foundation or anything yet so can't say if it helps but I did notice it helped keep the eye shadow on, esp the mac pigments that are loose. Also is there really a brand of primer called monistat or is that a typo? haha.

The Murad has SPF which is fantastic when I went my SPF free (annoyingly) Bb cream.

CestLaVie lol no typo. Allegedly monistat anti-chafing gel is a knock off of the Smashbox primer. Sent from my ZTE A2017U using Tapatalk I haven't tried that one yet. Do you have dry skin? Or visible pores? I think primer helps me so much bc my nose is pore central and I have dry patches which makes makeup wear unevenly. Primers for me are essential.

Primers for me are essential. It was dry, but I think is normalizing PP. And yes to pores. My pores are huge! At the end of the day it's like my foundation settles in my pores and I have little specks of foundation along the sides of my nose. Sent from my ZTE A2017U using Tapatalk Try porefessional. I don't like that all over my face. But its so smooth and smells good.

amichelle723, I was told to start using a toner and I found that really helped a lot. To close up your pores before you put anything else on. I just got cheap neutragina stuff and it has worked well. Porefessional was recommended too but I haven't tried that yet.

Try porefessional. I don't like that all over my face. But its so smooth and smells good. I have. I may try it again though bc I really think my skin is changing. I'm wearing Smashbox today and I definitely see my pores and smudges from sunglasses. Maybe I just need to pair it with a setting spray? I always forget that part. Sent from my ZTE A2017U using Tapatalk On my glasses always move my makeup unless I set it. That for me isn't a primer thing. That's a setting powder thing. Maybe I should say: primer. Setting powder. Are my jam. I use setting spray too but I'm not convinced it does anything aside from making me feel like my makeup is 'complete'
