How’s everyone doing?
We are doing well. DD is 12.5 weeks and I can’t believe it. I’m gearing up to go back to work on 11/12. Part of me is ready, and part of me is super anxious.

I think Link is sick again. I'm pretty sure I'm developing PPD. I'm really not in a good place emotionally.

I’m sorry to hear that beenthere. Is there some support you can seek through your PCP or therapist? I hope you take care of yourself. And I hope Link can rally quickly from the illness he has going on right now. I definitely think I have some PPA stuff going on that makes me feel on edge and irritable so much of the time, so I need to take the suggestion I gave you above to heart as well. I say that to let you know you aren’t alone in having struggles.

robinanne DS was quite a spitter, but this baby never ever ever spits up. Ever. She puts every last ounce into growing her massive cheeks 😆

We have been dealing with reflux, so lots of spitting up. He was getting really bad again so the doctor upped his dose last week and it seems to be helping.

My dream would be to work part time about 20 hours a week so I get the socialization with adults but also plenty of time with the kids. Unfortunately that’s not in the cards for me financially anytime in the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately that’s not in the cards for me financially anytime in the foreseeable future. FI just started a new job and is making significantly more money, so I'm holding out hope that I can stay at home sometime in the future. Right now it isn't a possibility because we are hoping to buy a new house in the next year or two and we are also saving for a wedding(!!) now. Maybe I'll be able to stay home and be a lady who lunches when my kids are grown.

20 hours a week would also be my dream. I couldn’t stay at home full time.

A question for you ladies: A is having a hard time adjusting to napping at daycare because of noise level, lights, not being held to sleep, etc. She’s only 3 days in. It’ll just take time to adjust right? I’m worried about it. But I need reassurance or anecdotes that it just takes time. Right?

T's first few weeks of daycare he would only nap for 20-30 mins at a time. He now does one good 1.5-2 hour nap with a couple cat naps thrown in. It gets better! I think at first he was just too nosy checking all the new stuff out and now that he is used to it he is settling in and getting more of a routine down.

I’m going to be honest, it didn’t get better until he turned 1 and they had them all napping together (quiet and dark) on a schedule.

Hey ladies! Sorry I haven't checked in in a while! I hope everyone is doing well. Everything is pretty good over here. The baby continues to be a happy little dream boat, but my 2yo is trying to kill me with his shenanigans. He looooves his little brother though and it makes my heart explode. DD turned 5 last month (how?!). She's a good big sister, but is mostly apathetic about DS2 lol. At least I don't have to worry about two kids smothering the baby or poking his eyes. 🙄😂

I guess it’ll be a wait and see thing with the daycare napping. Hoping it’ll get better! Enjoying the weekend snuggles with this little one.

Link is still not rolling. Should I be worried? I think that’s ok! He’s probably around 4 months old? We just had our 4 month well check and the pediatrician only asked if he can hold his head up while on his tummy, nothing about rolling.

I was bad and forgot to schedule so I couldn't get us in until almost 5 months 😬
