For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler?
Pregnant & BFing/Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms?
GTKY: What adult occupation should your toddler have based on their current interests?

Hi!!! My son turns one this month! How is this possible?! I used to hang out here when I nursed my daughter. We stopped around her third bday when her brother was a few months old. She still asks occasionally but says she doesn’t remember nursing which kind of surprises me.
1. How old is your LO? Almost one. 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? Every 2-3 hours. Lots overnight. We also bedshare after his first stretch of sleep in crib (doesn’t last long!). 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? No. 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Side lying in bed and cradle when up.
Pregnant & BFing/Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms?
GTKY: What adult occupation should your toddler have based on their current interests? He mostly likes to do whatever his sister is doing so I’ll say whatever she ends up doing.
Not a bf related challenge.. or maybe it is but ds doesn’t eat much solid food. We are seeing a speech therapist once a month. He basically spits out all food after chewing it. I am seeing some progress though.

Hi Ladies! Mind if I pop in? I nursed D1 till 18 months and D2 just turned 2 last week:
1. How old is your LO? Turned 2 on 8/14
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 1-2
3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? I feel like a crazy woman with feeling done and wanting to wean and then emotional at the thought of it being done. I keep wanting to just follow her lead buuuuutt then I just feel ready to wean. She will go sometimes a day or two without but then its like she remembers she isn't so comes back around. We were on vacation last week so kind of out of a routine and she went a couple days but then woke up and nursed. It is mostly just at morning wakeup so I assume this is getting to naturally weaning right? I feel bad to push it. Its funny because D1 nursed one night, looked at me like what is that, popped off and that was that! Lol
4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Cradle or side-lying
GTKY: What adult occupation should your toddler have based on their current interests? Probably a stuntwomen. She is such a daredevil!

jt2378, I feel you on the whole feeling done but also emotional over it. I never thought I would enjoy nursing, let alone want to do it for two years!

Hi, I go here now, officially!
1. How old is your LO? 12 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3-5 3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? I think I'm done pumping at work. I have all my stuff here, but I made it through the day last Friday ok. Weird schedule this week because my big kid starts K, so I need to be prepared in case I am too full during the work day! 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Boppy for lyfe! Cross cradle when that's not available (as in, I always hold my boob up for him with the hand on that same side)
GTKY: What adult occupation should your toddler have based on their current interests? Competitive eating.

Hello, I'm new here!
1. How old is your LO? nearly 15 months
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? If I'm home, she snacks all the time. Days I work, normally just 2-3x + overnights.
3. Are you dealing with any BFing-related challenges right now? I really want her to sleep in her crib. She goes down fine, but after she wakes up I can't for the life of me get her to go back in the crib. She screamcries until I bring her into bed and then she commences to nurse every 1.5-2 hours.
4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Side-lying or modified if I'm laying on the couch (she scooches to the side). Her preferred way is upside down.
GTKY: What adult occupation should your toddler have based on their current interests? Some kind of job that let's her take things out of something, examine it, and then put it back in. Or a tour guide because she wants to walk everywhere but refuses to do it without holding onto my hand.
