Week/fruit/EDD: 27w3d, lettuce, 11/8 (11/1 RCS)
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Today with OB and for GTT
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink!
Milestones: 3rd trimester on Friday!
Symptoms: Allergies that won't go away even with zyrtec, feeling big, heartburn
Rants: I'm caught between wishing these next 11/12 weeks go fast and trying to enjoy my last pregnancy.
Raves: I can't believe that I only have a little over 11 weeks left. This pregnancy has felt slow at times and fast most recently. Our house is on the market so I'm hoping it sells in the next month or two so we don't have to carry 2 mortgages when our new house is finished right after the baby is born.
GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet? Sut.ton J.ane
Has anyone had to do the GTT midday? I have always done them first thing. So I'm trying to decide what to have for lunch today that won't throw off the results. I assume I should try to do high protein?

Week/fruit/EDD: 20 WEEKS
FTM, etc: second Appointments: OB on Wednesday, anatomy scan Thursday morning
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue Milestones: HALFWAY HALFWAY HALFWAY Symptoms: more regular movement, lots of anxiety/irritability, joint pain - particularly bad SI joint pain Rants: Vacation is over! Booooo. We spent four days at the beach and I have never seen my kid so happy and have so much fun. Raves: Excited for our ultrasound this week. And oddly enough, my OB appointment is with a midwife I've known since I was 23; we worked together in a sports bar while in nursing school (her) and graduate school (me), then she later appeared in my life while shadowing the midwife I saw for prenatal care while pregnant with M. When I made the decision to switch to a new practice this pregnancy, I found out she is a CNM with them now. It's a small world and I look forward to seeing her again. GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet? This is quite a question for this week. Lol. We had decided on Ev.an and then Mh told me on our drive home from the beach he wasn't feeling it; our last name is full of hard consonants and we know the middle name will be Wil.liam and it kept tripping me up too tbh, so we've settled on something else now. It's been my dark horse favorite all along and he tells me he won't change his mind again.

The anxiety is a source of another rant from me today. It's been four weeks since I've been in to see my therapist and it shows. Last week we were on vacation. The week before that I was really sick; it was that week I missed my last appointment and I wasn't able to reschedule for this week because I have an appointment with the chiropractor and two separate pregnancy appointments. Vacation and being so sick also mean I haven't been as active, which otherwise really helps manage my symptoms of anxiety.
I am WFH and I really want to get on the yoga mat today.

notblanche, I'm sorry you are dealing with anxiety too! It sucks in general, but mixing it with pregnancy is like a form of torture. I hope you can find time to see your therapist soon!

Week/fruit/EDD: 25w4d/eggplant/Nov 21
FTM, etc: 3tm Appointments: shot on wednesday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue Milestones: T felt a kick the other day Symptoms: getting hard to bend over/put on shoes/etc. Rants: not much right now...ready to shop for fall maternity clothes but realistically I know we have at least 2.5 more months of temps in the 90s. I guess I am sad that summer is winding down and our pool will close. I'm excited for the kids to start school because I know they love it and I need routine and I'll get 3 days a week by myself until baby comes, but it's also sad that our summer next year will be so different with a baby in tow. Raves: glad to be done with road trips for a while. We closed on our construction loan on our house on Friday! And D's birthday party is Saturday. GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet? Yep.

Week/fruit/EDD: 19w5d
FTM, etc: 4tm Appointments: Aug 23
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): ? Milestones: almost halfway baked! Symptoms: uncomfortable, headaches, exhaustion, gassy, crabby Rants: baby must be growing because I'm so uncomfortable and itchy in my skin. Raves: The big kidlets are also growing so lots of naps are happening which lets me take naps. The girls can feel the baby's movements and that gets them so excited! GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet? Yes, the kids really enjoy calling the baby by it's name. We all kinds of assume it's a boy. We might have big issues if it's a girl.

Week/fruit/EDD: 23w5d/grapefruit/Dec 4th
FTM, etc: Stm Appointments: a second ultrasound on Thursday (one of the perks to being over 35 and pregnant are the extra perks at baby)
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink Milestones: inching closer to viability Symptoms: so many kicks all over the place Rants: Raves: GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet?
We have a short list of favorites and will likely decide for sure once she's born.

I hope you pass the 3 hour but it sucks to take regardless! I'm sorry, I know how frustrating it is to fail I'm one of those people. I had GD with my first pregnancy and then failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour for this pregnancy.

Week/fruit/EDD: 23+6, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3rd Appointments: OB tomorrow morning
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink Milestones: viability this week? Symptoms: lovely pain in my pubic bone area. What’s that called, SPD? Mostly if I’ve been on my feet a lot, or if baby is sitting particularly low. This happened last pregnancy, too. Rants: I’m soooooooo over the heat. Sorry in advance, this may be my main complaint over the next several weeks. Raves: DS’s K teacher says he’s doing awesome! And DD starts preschool tomorrow, so I’m excited to get a few hours to myself- especially to go to the OB without any kids in tow. GTKY: Have you decided on a name yet?
I think so? I threw a name at H, he said “yeah I like that” and we haven’t talked about it since, haha. That seems to be our baby- naming method. Haven’t discussed the middle name either.

We had our anatomy scan today, and he’s perfect! Measuring right on track, weighing an estimated 13 ounces. The sonographer said they had fun scanning him because he was so active, tap dancing on my bladder. Only thing they weren’t able to get was good pics of his spine; they got some but not from an optimal angle so I’ll have to go back in a few weeks for more.

Also, at my OB appointment yesterday I received the paperwork to (1) do my glucose test; (2) order my breast pump; and (3) pre-register with the hospital. I know I'm only halfway there but damn that made it all feel a lot more real.

notblanche I got the same paperwork this week too, and my doctor mentioned that I have one more monthly appointment before seeing me every two weeks. Like, what?! Already?! It totally feels like the weeks are flying by!

sundog, I know! #1 on the list which I have been telling DH daily is trying to find the infant pads for our infant car seat. I think one of my kids was playing with it months ago. #2 is digging out baby clothes and washing them. I figure if I can get those two things done and wash the bassinet sheet I should be good. Right?!

Right?! Totally! As I’ve had more kids, I’ve learned that babies really don’t need much so you’ll be good to go once those few things are done (She tells herself as to not panic).

Agreed elle! The first half of pregnancy drags by so slow for me. But after 20 weeks it starts flying. Which I'm grateful for this time because my anxiety has been up and down. I'm trying to slow down and enjoy it as it might be my last pregnancy, but I'm just so ready for baby girl to get here.
