We got back from vacation #1 it was fun. E had a great time. Since we have been home yesterday evening she has been a complete brat. It’s has been so annoying. Hopefully getting back to our routine tomorrow improves her attitude.

Hopefully getting back to our routine tomorrow improves her attitude. Same peaseblossom55, same. I took the kids on a week long vacation to visit family out of state. It was over 1,000 miles of driving with all the day trips factored in, 3 nights in a hotel, various sleeping arrangements at my dad’s place, etc. The kids were AMAZING. They wildly exceeded all of my expectations. Then we got home last Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday was a terrible, whiny, just plain awful detox. I want those angel vacation kids back! Then we were down the shore this weekend with the other grandparents so I’m not looking forward to today. The AC guy is coming today 🎉🎉 it hasn’t been doing a great job keeping up with the heat and I just noticed that there’s some water on the floor by the unit in the basement. Sighs. It’s only 4 years old so I am not happy but it’s looking like some of it should be covered under their 5 year guarantee. Fingers crossed!

Lakes glad to know I am not the only kid with post vacation detox. It is not fun. I hope the AC has been fixed!

Yep, my kids are nightmares after vacation too. So frustrating! Hope E returns to her normal self soon peaseblossom55! We’re back to school over here! DS started pre-K on Monday (still at their daycare but it’s public funded so no more double daycare bill 🙌🏻) and M moved up to the toddler 2’s class. They’re both thrilled and I’m hoping their excitement carries a little longer haha. DS has to attend 5 days a week so M and I will be on our own on Mondays and Fridays when I’m off work (until we can pick up DS at 2:30). It’s going to be so weird having so much one on one time with her! She watched frozen this week for the first time and her deep love for Elsa and princesses has grown even more. It’s adorable seeing her twirl around the house singing constantly.

E loves singing and dancing and will stop to watch anytime there is music or dancing on tv. Not so much into princesses yet. I showed her on you tube gene jelly singin in the rain and she loved it. 😍

The weather has been gorgeous this weekend. We met up with some friends at the zoo for his birthday and there’s a beer garden there now! My favorite zoo trip to date!
Ds was so into seeing the animals and telling us facts about them. It was adorable.

Oh I forgot! Dd has her 2.5 checkup the other week. Even though she’s put on 4lbs she’s back down to the 6th percentile for weight and 9th for height.
But she’s not letting the peanut life slow her down! She always finds a way to participate, like today at the kid’s museum 😂

Aww M is always doing her best to climb to see stuff too Lakes! We skipped her 2.5y checkup (with her dr’s ok) bc my insurance for some reason doesn’t cover it (found out the hard way with DS). My best guess is that she’s just under 25 pounds (which is only 2 pounds up from her birthday) and 35 inches (2 inches up from her birthday) but she hasn’t been in to the dr since her birthday (which I’m obviously jinxing now). Also I’m considering a bob on her similar to your girl’s hair. I love that look on little girls and it would give her hair a chance to even out since a lot of the front/side pieces are much shorter than the back. I have a month or so until DS’s next cut when I’ll take her in too so we’ll see if I chicken out.

2 weeks until we to go Disney! E is excited but I don’t think she really understands.
E is a peanut as well at her 2 1/2 year check up she was in the 1 percentile for height she is about 34 inches. Lol.

Lol. That should be so much fun! This summer my kids really got into the boardwalk rides. Ds would probably lose his mind at a legit theme park. Although I’m 99% they are not ready for the character life.
